Shane came to fix our dining room ceiling after a leak in the upstairs bathroom required a hole to be cut in the ceiling.

Shane repaired a section of my ceiling several months ago. While I was initially dissatisfied with the quality of his work due to a lump going across the ceiling, I have since found that this is only visible at certain times of the day (depending on sunlight) and I don't notice it anymore. Apart from that concern, Shane was excellent to work with and clearly wanted to do a quality job. I would hire Shane again.

The Baki's team was super! They came in, taped and sealed everything with plastic, scraped, primed, textured (california knockdown), painted, and cleaned up in less than 4 days. They were efficient, professional, and we are thrilled with the quality. we will definitely call them when we are ready to to the upstairs.

Shane responsed quickly and came through with a very honest and competitive quote. He was friendly and showed up early to our meet appointment.
We had our condo’s entire main living area and bedroom ceilings stripped and re-textured (due to damage from tenants), this was a fair amount of work and on on top of leaving the space absolutely spotless (this is a very messy process) he finished a full day early. The quality of workmanship of the repairs/patching/re-finishing was outstanding would easily recommend.

Shane was great at first, he was prompt and friendly. We had done some drywall patching and we asked him to do some additional drywall patching repairs which he did and I paid extra for. When job was completed we could see both his and our patching jobs were visible so we asked him to fix it. He called the police on us (whaaa...t?) yes. Police came and obviously couldn't do anything but officer looked at it and said he wouldn't pay him either until the job was done satisfactory. Shane came back the next day, re-textured and slapped one coat of paint on our patching job. Looks terrible. His patching jobs are still visible. We will have to hire someone else to fix it all. I paid him in full before he left. I had to ask 4 times for a receipt. He was cheaper but, as they say, we got what we paid for. He also left all his garbage for us to haul away. Who does that???

We had Shane do the ceiling knockdown and texture in our family room and kitchen. Cost was very reasonable and right on quote. Shane is so personable and professional with a great sense of humor too. Excellent job done, despite having to deal with 3 dogs coming and going. Highly recommend and would definitely hire again. Thanks Shane!

We've just had the ceiling in our secondary suite textured and we are very pleased. Shane was available on fairly short notice, showed up when he said he would and did an outstanding job for a very reasonable price. We couldn't have asked for any better and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BCT to others.

We had some big holes patched after replacing the poly b pipes in the house. This meant getting the rest of the popcorn on the main floor removed and updating the ceilings to a knockdown.

Shane impressed me from the start and his quote was very reasonable.

The job took 4 days, with him needing to do some coming and going.

My house is a challenging one to work on and this is a challenging time to do anything, but I am happy with the final result. The house looks so refreshed.
