We hired JCS to do the interlock for the backyard and portion of the front , From the initial visit they made it very clear what needed to be done and the scope of work. From the initial signing of the contract all the details were very clear and the sample stones were set for us to see what would we be getting. We were updated every single day on the progress that was happening and the work was done up to her standards and beyond they left the area clean after every day. They worked At our house until the work was completely finished we are very satisfied with the end result and we would strongly recommend them to our friends who are looking to get similar type of work completed

Jay and his team did an excellent job in transforming our backyard into an elegant and highly functional space. It was an incredibly challenging project with some unique features and drainage considerations, but Jay was very accommodating and easy to work with in finding solutions and adjusting to changes we needed to make throughout the project. We had an extensive area of interlocking to complete and only a conceptual drawing to work from, but that was not an issue! Jay helped us to improve the design as we progressed, and had the experience to know what would work in the long term too, to make sure the features we installed would last. We are very satisfied with everything, and would highly recommend Jarrah Contracting Services.
(Work included: grading and fill, retaining walls in wood and stone, turf area with sub drainage, armour stone retaining walls, interlocking of large driveway and three pathways in several materials, and patio).

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMANY. I always trusted Home Depot and get everyrhing done throygh their installation services. This year we got our roofing and eavestrough done from them. I went to our local Home Depot store and told them at Pro desk that I need to get land scapping done. Then after few days I got a call from Home Depot installation services to contact one company as this is their authorised contractor. I called them but they said they only do concrete work where as I was looking for interlocking. I called back Home Depot and then they gave me this comany's number. I called and Jay answered. We set up the time and he came on time. He was a sweet talker and was wearing a Home Depot shirt which made me feel more confident about the company. We went over all the things and he promised to come back with quote. We had meetings few times as we decided on scope of work and price and kind of stones we wanted. everything was going well but it was taking long time. We ultimately siged the 5 page contract he sent . As few things were missing which we agreed to , we asked him to add them but he said you can write on the page and he will sign that also. All well till now and then He started one day. He came with 3 other guys on first day and asked for advance of 50% and total timeline in the contact was 2 weeks. He took my credit card as I know Home Depot always does that, I did not mind it. But next day onward our trouble started. They were never on time, some days coming at noon and leaving at 4 with a lunch break of 1+ hour in between. More over they never showed up in between and worst of all he never picks up his phone now. I have had the days when I called him 20+ times and sent uncountable messages and he never replied. Then he started coming with 2 guys and then with only 1 who does not speak english at all. On days when he left in between, you can not even ask the other person as he has no language skill. It was almost 5 weeks+ and our work is not even I will say 30%. In between he demanded another 25% as per contract as it was based on time payment and not job done. we paid reluctantly as we wanted him to just finish and he said he needs to buy material. But unfortunately now he just stopped coming. One day his guy came and took away most of their tools as we can not be at home all day. He never replied to our phone or text for almost 5 days and then one day i got a text saying that he is in depression and can not work. I demanded my money back and again no reply for 3 days and then one day he said he will send his guy to complete the work. I refused to accept as I dont want a non communicating one person team to take another six months to do a lousy job. I have sent him numerous emails and complained to Home Depot also who now are trying to deflect the blame on him and left me a message to talk to him directly to sort this out. Yesterday I called another contractor and was told that all the work which he did is wrong and to fix it they will need to remove everything. Moreover I was told that the main water shut down valve for water in the house has been most likely broken and has been hiiden down somewhere on driveway and will need to be found and the area will need to be dug till waterline around 5-6 feet deep to fix it. I ll have to take on a lawyer to get this sorted out most likely as it has taken away our peace and life. My home has become almost unusable and unsafe to live in.I ll also attach some photos which you can see that what the mess he left us in.

Used Home Depot to refer this company. They cancelled twice. Once being a no show. Very difficult to get a hold of anyone. Finally came and did the job. We were somewhat pleased with the quality of work. Glue was left on the subflooring, face plates weren’t removed but taped around and new face plates had to be bought. Then they tried to charge extra for the vapour barrier even though isn’t he original quote it was included. We were told we would receive a $100 gift card to the keg for all the scheduling issues and we are yet to receive this. We used them for the greenon rebate program. Rebate program have no records of our papers being filed and I can’t seem to get any responses as to if the issue from Jay. It has been a week and a half that he has been looking into this for us. No longer answering my texts. Very disappointed.

This company and its employees were professional and clean. It was a pleasure dealing with this company and the transaction was simple.
