Leaking Building Envelope Repair, Take 2
On rainy days, water would get through the building envelope and leak to the inside of our home. I hired a stucco company to repair it (from homestars with positive reviews no less). Their very expensive work failed and they didn't honour their warranty. It was an awful experience.
Enter Dave & his team at NexGen. Dave took the time to come out, understand what I needed and provide me some options, very conscience of my past negative experience. He spent a lot of time educating me, providing a very detailed plan on getting this fixed right this time, and providing a written commitment. I feel this effort was over and above. He earned my contract.
Dave and his team showed up, worked hard, educated me along the way, respected me, my yard/family/property, and provided an excellent experience. I'm very confident in the work and materials they used as they engaged with me every day. They even water tested the wall which was something the previous company did not do. I'd recommend Dave anytime and appreciated his skill, experience and personality.

Stucco repair requires extensive experience and commitment to the trade. I take pride in educating and informing my clients about the trade I love, and I truly look out for homeowners. The fact that you found the previous contractor on HomeStars is particularly disturbing. The Homestars site and format is supposed to be in place to protect homeowners and prevent those types of situations from happening.
