After getting distracted and leaving my garage open overnight, my wife suggested there was something in our garage. I shrugged her off until i found our garbage tattered all over the floor of our garage the next morning. We then spent two days and nights wondering how to evict this unseen critter hiding in our garage. My wife made the call to Sherwin at SOS. I balked at first as i thought this was something i could handle on my own. But when Sherwin came by, I knew it would be money well spent. He came on time and within minutes of showing up, he figured out where the raccoon had been, where it was hiding and set up a humane trap to get it out. After we set up the trap, we did a walkaround of the house and he provided some helpful tips on how to keep all critters out of and away from the house. Within hours of him leaving, the raccoon was captured in his cage and ready for pick up. Sherwin returned the next day and picked up the raccoon and cage. Bottom line, great experience with SOS but I hope not to have to deal with raccoons again.

Saw a fairly large raccoon climbing up on the roof on a late Friday afternoon and heard noise in the ceiling the same evening, so we called Shewin in the next morning for an appointment to check out the roof. Shewin and Jamie were fast and professional, and with their help 6 raccoon babies were safely extracted. Great service!

Last week we were shocked to see a bat flying around our basement area, but were fortunate to chase it outside through our front door. After some research, we became nervous there was a colony living in our attic. Based on Homestars reviews, we decided to call SOS to have a look and get advice.

Sherwin was able to come to our house the next day and did a full look through our attic and the exterior of the house to see where it may have come in. Fortunately, there were no additional bats in the attic, and he provided a quote to "bat proof" the exterior but said it was totally up to us if we wanted to do it now or wait until there was another problem since this had never happened before and may just be a fluke. He never pressured us to do the additional work and came across as very honest and sincere. He also took the time to show us the potential entry points and explained why it was likely a bat and not a bird, etc.

He came across as highly knowledgeable, but also ethical in the way he would have treated any potential wildlife. Most importantly, he was easy to deal with and never tried to upsell us at all. We would absolutely call him again if we need additional work done to the house or for any other wildlife issues.

i am a repeat customer, old row townhouse downtown toronto, unfortunately lots of squirrel and racoons in the area.
i got a one way door put in and a preventative cage on my vent. as well as my neighbors.

Once again SOS have done a great job getting rid of our red squirrels. Jamie came yesterday and put on a one way door and mesh surrounding the area that the squirrels opened and continued to gnaw on. He put extra mesh to ensure that there was good coverage. I had called Sherwin last month when I saw the hole and the squirrel and when he came to examine it he insisted that we wait because it was the time when babies would be born and he knew that they wouldn't be able to get out until they were stronger. Sherwin's knowledge of all wildlife and their habits is extensive. I have complete trust that he had recommended the right course of action. Both Jamie and Sherwin completely explained all the work they had done and what to look and listen for to make sure the squirrels are gone. The warranty is great and their price is fair. I called SOS to deal with a racoon that was destroying our roof - ripping off shingles, making holes in the wood and tearing up our eavestrough. Sherwin showed up when he said he would and took care of the issue quickly, personably and knowledgeably. He also offered us some ideas to prevent racoons from scaling up there again. I would not hesitate to use his services again or to recommend him to others.

Work completed Wed April 4 house in the Greenwood and Coxwell area. The office called and gave me 1 hour notice before arriving, Jamie and his partner arrived even though it was very windy and cold -1 degrees outside. They took a look and even showed me before and after photos to understand the size and scope of the problem. Really happy with the work, I initially thought it was raccoons and it turns out it was squirrels. They installed a one-way door and covered the gaps running along the roof line about 12 feet. The work was completed in about 2 to 3 hours.

A racoon got into my roof through the soffits, three floors up. Due to the height, most contractors couldn't even do the job. Sherwin initially came for an inspection and identified the problem area that I knew about, but also recommended several other preventative measures to keep the racoon out. Sherwin and his crew came out on another date to carry out the repairs and preventative measures, and the racoon has not been back since. At both appointments, Sherwin was on time, polite, and took pictures of the before and after of his work. The quality of their fixes was excellent and barely noticeable. Overall and I very impressed with S.O.S. Wildlife Control and I would recommend them to anybody.
