I own a 109 year old, three storey house in Hintonburg Ottawa that was in dire need of a new roof. The building had not been properly maintained for decades and it was very apparent when you looked at the roof. I had very large ice dams on the roof every winter which caused damage to the roof, soffit and facia, so I was hoping to remedy the problem but had very little idea where to start. After calling a number of roofing companies in Ottawa to quote the work, Chris of Remember Me Roofing was the only one who booked an appointment to meet with me in person to discuss my concerns and questions – and I had a number of them. He showed up to the appointment on time and was very knowledgeable and very patient in answering each of my questions. He provided options to solve the issues with the roof and took his time going through each one. The quote to complete the work was very competitive, especially given the fact that the scope he quoted included solutions to my roofing issues that the other companies didn’t even include or mention. The other reason I went with Remember Me Roofing is because Chris explained that each member of his team were in fact employees, trained by Remember Me Roofing and not seasonal sub-contractors. This is important to me – it shows investment in the team and by the team members in the company they work for. The work was booked and started as scheduled (give or take a week due to really bad rain this spring / summer). The Remember Me Roofing team were fantastic to have working on my house. Cory and Scott did a fantastic job on the soffit and facia (which was not a straight forward job because of an uneven roof line) and Jordan and the roofing team (Chris, Walter and everyone) were so nice and answered every possible question I had. They did a beautiful job and I can’t say how relieved I am to have hired Remember Me Roofing to solve a very big issue that caused me stress for a number of years. I had heard so many people talk about roofing nightmares with other companies, but I can’t think of one thing this team could have done better. The work was finished on schedule, the clean-up was good and the whole experience was stress free. This was money very well spent and I have already recommended this team to three people (and the job finished just yesterday). A very big thank you to Chris and Remember Me Roofing!

My son referred me to Remember me Roofing. Chris provided me with a detailed estimate and an explanation of the benefits of the materials to be used. They accommodated the installation prior to the opening of our swimming pool and we were able to opt for colour choice of the shingles up to a week before installation. The crew was very polite and the job was completed completely to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them.

I came across Remember Me Roofing when I saw them working on a house in my neighbourhood. When I approached one of the employees, he was so polite, very friendly and very informative and provided me with information on who to get in contact with for a free estimate. I spoke with Chris on the phone shortly after that and he was very accommodating. After meeting Chris I continued to be impressed. He explained everything what would be done to my roof in a very descriptive and patient way. I felt assured that I would receive a professional and high quality service. I contacted another company for an estimate to compare and they did not provide me with as much information and seemed to lack the attention to detail Chris had provided during his estimate. After booking with Remember Me Roofing, the job went smoothly and was completed within the time frame described by Chris. Everyone working on the house was extremely polite and professional and what I feared would be a giant headache was actually painless! When the roof was completed, all the debris was removed and Chris followed up with me. I am extremely impressed with the service and quality of the roof that I now have. Having requested an estimate by e-mail, I was contacted by Chris Wright very promptly. He inspected our mansard roof thoroughly, showed me pictures of the problems identified, explained what needs to be done, provided a detailed work estimate and adhered to the time-window he committed to have the work done. All the work was done within 2 days as promised, the crew made sure to remove all debris and Chris followed up with a visit to ensure customer satisfaction. Service was excellent, at a reasonable price and we plan to continue using the services of RememberMeRoofing.

We had a new roof installed in December 2013. Although pleased with the job at the time, we discovered a water leak inside our home in the ceiling foyer in March 2014. We called Chris as it appeared it could be coming from the new roof install. We were told "We should have shovelled the snow off our roof." After further discussion, and expressing our discontent, Chris noted he would send someone to look at it. Several calls later, two employees showed up, only to find that in fact, the flashing had been installed wrong; it was stepped improperly and therefore the snow melt and recent rain, all flowed into our garage/attic, causing much damage. Although they did repair the flashing, they made no offer to repair the mess we are now left to deal with in our foyer, for which we feel they are liable. The ceiling needs to be scraped, mudded and re-painted. There was no follow up call from Chris to see if our problem has been resolved (water leak) and no attempt to assist us with a problem that they are responsible for; we are not impressed.

Chris was quick to accept the initial job and payment when it was done, but has not come by to see the damage or make any attempt to compensate us for it. I would not recommend this company.

I contacted Remember Me Roofing shortly after the holidays when my husband and I noticed a significant amount of ice on our roof. We were unsure as to what was causing this but decided to contact Remember Me Roofing. After inspecting the roof, Chris was able to tell us that the ventilation was the cause of the problem. We didn’t know much about roofing but Chris and is team were really patient and attentive to our questions and concerns. Everything was explained to us in a clear way and we understood the work that needed to be done. The entire team was extremely professional, courteous, pleasant and knowledgeable. The work was clean, orderly and efficient. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends and family and will be contacting them if need be.

Remember Me Roofing did a great job in the replacement of our roof. Chris was exceptional in explaining what needed to be done and the process to get there. Unlike other companies who slap together a quote, Chris really took the time to explain in detail what he was proposing and why. We were very comfortable with everything from the first time we met Chris to the full install and the trucks pulling away at the end of the job. Each and every one of the crew was great - polite, friendly and helpful - it didn't matter who we asked a question of, each took the time to explain fully and provide an answer. In one day we had our much-needed new roof! In addition to a great job on our roof, Chris and the guys helped with some insulation we needed replaced and as well they took the time to fix some issues with our soffits and eaves even when this wasn't part of the job. Chris and his crew did a wonderful job on our roof from the first contact we were confident we had picked the right company. Very professional the crew were great we had just replaced our driveway they took extra care there and at the end of the job the cleanup completed you would never have known they were there except for my new roof . It was a pleasure to deal with Chris Wright & his team. Ethical, caring and honest. Stress free from initial personalized estimate to when the Remember Me Roofing Truck left the driveway. Our new roof was completed on time and on budget. After the job was finished, there was hardly any debris left from the job. Exceptional value & we are confident our roof will not leak for 40-50 years! The crew was excellent, nothing damaged, no nails. The workers were courteous, prompt and very professional. Hard working crew with no nonsense attitude. Overall, good company to deal with. I highly recommend Remember Me Roofing!

Chris and his crew were remarkable. I was a bit worried from my neighbours terrible experience. Chris was the same price as my neighbours job and but without Chris' touch and craftsmanship. He kindly pointed out the difference between our neighbours roof and his work. What a difference!
His crew was friendly and knowledgeable and glad to address all my concerns. The clean up was also much better than the company that my neighbour used.
We did have some water damage from our previous roof and Chris addressed the issue and even had our ceilings repaired from where the water came through.
