install bath tub faucets

This was a very complicated job as it was a confined space and the replacement parts included new parts to bring up to code.
It took almost 9 hours. But was a flat rate and this saved big $$'s.
Alex was great, explained all details of job. I highly recommend him.

Bathtub faucet repair

After experiencing terrible customer service with another plumber, I contacted Hi-Tec Drain and Plumbing for our leaky bathtub faucet. Because we were close to selling our home, we needed prompt service and Alex from Hi-Tec was available for consultation the very next day and completed the job the day after that. His estimate for the repair was based on the job, not hourly rate, and included the parts. We didn’t have to worry about finding the right size replacement because Alex did that for us, and he even worked extra time fixing an unpredictable problem without charging overtime. He did an excellent job on the repair in the quickest and cleanest manner I have ever experienced with a plumber. Alex saved us money in overtime and extra parts. He was professional and courteous, which made the repair a stress-free experience. Thank you Alex!

leaking kitchen sink, not flushing toilet, bad laundry smell

I found hi tec on Kijiji and liked there ad, somehow it stood out from the rest and that was enough for me to give them a call. The next day alex a plumber from hi tec came to my house and went ahead with doing diagnostics to figure out what was wrong with multiple issues I had. I had issues with kitchen sink leaking and the downstairs toilet not properly flushing. I also would get very bad sewer like stench after the washing machine finished it cycle. After Alex did the diagnostics and found the problem he explained them to be and showed them to me, he then explained the price to me. The price was reasonable $1100 for everything. He told me the toilet issue was caused by a mechanical issue with the flushing mechanism and that it can be easily fixed by replacing the faulty part. The laundry stench from washing machine was caused by a broken drain pipe which he fixed, he also fixed some other minor issues with my laundry faucet at no extra charge which I appreciated. For my kitchen he replaced the two basket strainers. He then also fixed my lavatory faucet which was loose a bit at no charge again. And recommended that I get a vent under sink where my drain was not properly fixed, but I did not have the money for the vent so I opted to get it done some other time, when I get the money. Overall very reasonable price for all the work + at no charge fix ups, I was impressed by the plumbers knowledge and the fact he was explaining and showing things which I found neat and interesting to know.

master bathroom shower liner replacement

Few days ago I and my wife noticed that our ceiling was wet and the white stuff coming off very easy. I got some of my power tools and cut into the ceiling to see whats going on, there was some water dripping from the upper floor where our master bathroom is located. So I opened up Kijiji and started looking for a plumber. Why Kijiji? Funny enough I always get more reasonable prices + actual job quality is more professional by the local companies advertising there as compared to big guys on Google or whatever. I did not have luck reaching first few companies there, but got lucky and got connected to Hi tec. Next morning Alex from Hi tec arrived. He took a look at the hole I cut and then inspected the upstairs bathroom. He then told us the problem is the shower liner. That same day he went to the store to pickup a new liner for us and worked on our shower for few hours. After few hours of work our liner was replaced. Only thing that was left is for us to get a company to install new tiles into the shower over the liner. Now I'm very happy with the price I got since a friend of mine had similar issues 2 years ago and ended up paying 3 times more then what I paid, not to mention Alex cleaned everything up and used plastic to coverup our bathroom from the dust being everywhere, ones done everything was nicely cleaned and disposed off. Very good company and very friendly and good plumbers.

Basement shower upgrade

We had our bathroom renovated few years ago. But we left the old shower set as it was. After going to last years home show I and my husband seen some nice looking bathroom designs. And we seen a very nice and good shower set. Our old shower set was a cheap Moen that was put it very long time ago, 10 or so years ago. Few weeks ago we finally desided to have our shower updated to something better. We found Hi-Tec Drain on Kijiji and gave them a call. Next day plumber from the company came and gave us some suggestions on what we can get. We decided to go with Price Pfister which is a high-end company that makes high-end bathroom stuff, and it had positive reviews. Alex from Hi-Tec Drain came and installed the shower set ones he was able to get it from Price Pfister. He installed it very clean, and connected everything including the jets which I and my husband both very like after long work day. Very happy with the service. and very happy that we got professional suggestion on brand of shower to get.

Toilet repair

We had problems with our toilet main drain with it backing up do to a clog. Few times we tried to call variety of plumbing companies, who would come to our home, charge us money and then leave. But the problem kept coming back. Then we tried to call yet another plumbing company, expecting to pay and face the problem again. So this time we called Hi-Tec Drain who send it one of there technicians "Alex". Alex came and removed the toilet and cleaned the drain. Ones he cleaned the drain he inspected it by TV Camera. The TV Camera showed a peace of plastic, which was stuck from toilet flinch. Alex showed us all of this on his colored camera, and did a locate. After which he opened the drywall, cut a part of main stuck and removed the piece of plastic. Then he repaired the pipe and everything was then working. We waited few days and so far have had no problems. We are very happy with the service and are really happy to choose Hi-Tec Drain as our go-to plumbing company.
