One of my lights was not working and was not able to know the issue. Brian, the owner was the one who came for the repair and I have to say he is very warm, kind and fun to talk to.
The issue ended up being related to the dimmer, which I would not have been able to fix by myself and Home-Pro Electric fixed it quickly. I recommend Home-Pro Electric for any electrical issue. It is a very professional company with all the credentials required.

I was having a closet installed and the light switch had to be moved. Most companies wouldn't want to be bothered with a small job like this, and certainly wouldn't be able to fit it in as quickly as I needed it.
I called Home-Pro Electric and was pleased from the time of the initial call right through to the end of the job.
They were so pleasant to deal with, fit me in right away according to my schedule, the guy who did the work was really great - very polite and clean, and the job was done perfectly.

We are new to the city and had just moved into our house. We noticed that the bathroom lights and exhaust fan were controlled by one switch, 2 of the bedrooms did not have ceiling lights, and the power outlets on the outside of the house were original from 40 or 50 years ago. So we wanted the bathroom to have 2 switches, the bedrooms to have lights and GFCIs outside. I found Home-pro via a google search, checked their website and then called them for a quote. I was happy with the service from my initial conversation and when Brian called me later that evening to set up an appointment for the next day. Walking through the work I wanted done, with Brian and Jason, I felt confident that this was a good company. They were able to have someone out to my place the following day. I was very impressed with the professional appearance and manner in which everyone at the company had. The work was done very well, the guys explained everything as they worked, did a walk through of all the work on completion, used sheets to cover our floor and furniture and cleaned up everything when they were done. I feel confident that the work was done correctly.

I don't usually write reviews because I'm seldom satisfied with the work done but I was told that I may receive a coffee card if my review is seen, so here goes. I have a light switch at the top of 10 stairs but there wasn't a switch at the bottom even though a previous owner had installed a box (not sure why not). After a short search online, I contacted Home Pro Electric. An electrician came to my home about a week later (on time) and gave me a quote. I thought the price was too high but I went ahead with the work anyway, to get it over with. After the electrician was finished and had left, I went downstairs to look over the work area, as I usually do. The wiring was well done and neat. The area around it was tidy and everything was put back in its place. After seeing what was done, I felt I paid the right amount. It's difficult to find good service technicians who are skilled and able to talk to customers who may not know much about what is being done. But, I think the person who did the work in my home was one of them. I would call Home Pro Electric for future repairs, etc.

We were very pleased with the workmanship. The Home-Pro techs were very pleasant. We would use Home-Pro Electric again and are happy to give a recommendation.
In fact we have already given a referral to a real estate agent, as we were extremely happy with the work that was done for us.

Very pleased with my service from Home-Pro. I had the owner Brian complete my job personally. The work was done well, at a fair price and with friendly service. Brian was kind enough to be flexible working me into his schedule with sporadic life events I had going on at the time.

In addition to this, I was given a business card and an open invitation to call if I had any electrical questions the came up which Brian said he would be happy to answer.

All in all, very pleased. Will definitely use Home-Pro for my future electrical work.

Good company, clean, professional, showed up on time and did what they said they would do. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. The guys who showed up were good communicators and helped me understand how I might attack some future projects.

Brian was very prompt in solving a previous call by sending Ted to do the work.He is very kind and considerate and did the job very well[after hours ] .This experience won him the contract to do the re-wire etc.The re-wire was co-ordinated thru Guelph hydro and everything went according to plan.A little pricy but good.Ted was very good and Jason as well,however Jason always concerned about making extra money.Can't blame him there either.I would recommend them again.Brownies were delicious!!
