Base Tech Waterproofing

Extremely pleased with Basetech Waterproofing. They were efficient, professional and courteous. They did an outstanding job in rebuilding our cold storage room and side walkway. I would highly recommend Owner Tony and Phil, Mike, Craig and the rest of the crew.

Our garage floor was severely cracked and pieces of cement were lifting. Tony from BaseTech looked at the Garage Floor and recommended that it be replaced by a new floor. Tony was very professional and knowledgeable on the work that had to be done. We signed a contract and the work began 3 weeks later. Heavy machinery had to be used to remove all the concrete as the garage floor was deeper than expected. Mike and his crew were very pleasant and worked hard to get the job done. Although the job took a day longer than expected, the result is a beautiful new garage floor. I highly recommend BaseTech.

The Operations Manager Tony came out and gave me an expert evaluation and cost of what need to be done to correct our basement leakage problem. He explained exactly what materials and method would be used to solve the problem.
His crew directed by site super Phil arrived as scheduled. They had excellent equipment and worked hard to complete the job on time.
We have since refinished the basement and have had no water problems. He returned as he said he would in the spring and graded the soil that had settled over the winter.

After a pool installation (by a different company) all but destroyed our existing landscaping, Basetech came in and transformed our yard into a fantastic looking area. The interlocking stone looks top notch and the rebuilt front steps look amazing. A++. I would highly recommend! Very professional and knowledgeable company.

I contacted Base Tech in March of 2012 for repair of 2 foundation cracks in my home. Tony came out March 23 to quote for the job. I accepted the quote and work was scheduled for and completed on April 06 2012. I was satisfied with the work as completed at the time. Invoice states 20 year warranty on waterproofing work.
2 years after the completion of work, the parging has all cracked and fallen off the wall exposing a portion of the original foundation crack. There is nothing in the crack to prevent water penetration. Furthermore, the drainage board membrane is not fastened tight against the wall. There is actually a space between the wall and the plastic now that the parging has fallen away. (Again, where I believe water can penetrate).
I have called 3 times, and emailed 2 times with photos…no response. Each time that I call, I am told that Tony will take care of it. Each time that I call back, I am given an excuse (weather, too busy, etc). There is no excuse for not responding to a message or not calling when you can’t make an appointment.
It has now been almost 6 weeks since my initial call and still no call back from anyone.
I think it’s easy for a company to say that they have a 20 year warranty, but it‘s another story to get them to actually honour it.
I would not recommend this company because they do not stand behind their workmanship.

We have used base tech for a few projects and we will continue to use them. Tony and his team provided A1 service in every way. He was punctual, neat and always followed up to ensure we were 100% satisfied with the work. We have referred his company to many people and they have all been satisfied with his work. I highly recommend him and his team

We would highly recommend Tony and his crew for waterproofing your basement as well as any interlocking stone work. They did a fabulous job with waterproofing our basement as well as a beautiful interlocking pathway. We were thrilled with there quality of work, punctuality, and the follow up. Definitely a company that takes pride in there work to ensure there customers are completely satisfied and in my eyes, companies like that that are hard to find.

It has been since March since Basetech repaired the foundation of our home. The repair itself seemed to have been done well, however, part of the contract declared the company would replace our patio stones. It is now the end of August this work has yet to be done. We have called several times, and have been numerous excuses (weather, "I will let Tony know"), but nothing has been done. Patio stones still are piled in the corner of our backyard.
Unfortunately,I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!!!

Tony is knowledgeable, helpful, courteous and punctual. He assisted with the design component and gave excellent advice. He has a wonderful team working for him. They kept us informed of the timing and were true to their word. When a squirrel walked across the freshly laid surface they insisted on redoing it, even though it meant staying on-site into the evening to fix the problem.
