This company is extremely professional and does exceptionally good work. They were referred to us by a friend who had used this company for a new roof last year. We met with the owner, Jason Kovar, to review the estimate and had all of our questions answered and concerns addressed. He took the time to drop off samples of various shades of shingles to help us make our decision as to which colour we thought would look best on our house. The scheduled work was completed in the time frame as agreed upon with Jason. This was done in a timely fashion (under 2 days) and once the job was finished, they disposed of all litter so you could not even tell that the work had just been done.

The Kovar team installed new soffits on my house and garage, to replace the old wooden ones. I had a very good experience with them from start to finish. They worked quickly and efficiently and did an excellent job.

The surface area of the roof was measured, the work was discussed; and they took the time to answer questions from all the units - and a reasonable quote provided. The Kovar team began the work on time each day, completing the task early on the third day; and neighours commented on the professionalism of the work carried out and the daily cleanup at then end of the day. The foreman checked the work each day and ensured quality control on the jobsite. Every member of the team on the roof was qualified and certified to be working at height, always attached to the anchors. The materials used were what was ageed upon and I appreciated the slightly larger vent used that ensured the entire roof area was properly ventilated. My unit had the largest roo area for the block ar 1048 sq. Ft. I recommended then too my neighboring block as they are gathering quuotes to have their roof done as well.

My wife and I bought a house last spring that was in need of a new roof. As a young couple with our first single house, this was our first time going through the experience of having to find a roofing company. With so many options out there, it was a bit overwhelming, but we gathered up quotes from 6 companies that had a good reputation and/or have been in business for a long period. We ended up choosing Jason and Kovar Contracting because above all the others, he was the best communicator. We felt very comfortable giving him our business. We knew that he and all the other companies use high quality products with skilled labour, but Jason took the extra time on email and on the phone to respond to our questions, let us know what to expect with his company, and give us the peace of mind we were looking for before having to spend a significant amount of money. The work was done quickly and Jason came over for a walk-through once the job was done. We identified one issue with the work, and Jason had someone come and take care of it within a week. From the quote stage until the work was finished, Jason and Kovar Contracting were very professional and we felt like we were in good hands.We're very happy with our new roof, and with our experience working with Jason and Kovar Contracting Inc. We will absolutely recommend to our family and friends.

We had Jason come to upgrade an Attic vent back in 2013. The service was very fast and easy for us (he did it while we were at work) and he even fixed a cracked vent cover on our roof for free. Would recommend Kovar Contracting and hire them again.
