Havlin Electrical-No Longer in Business

Havlin Electrical was punctual, efficient and very knowledgeable about power supply in a larger condo building (ours, 90 units). They gave us very helpful and practical advice and ensured we have the 220 volt and 120 volt service we needed for a new washer dryer set we are installing. We will definetely use Havlin Electrical for future reno projects in our condo.

My husband & I recently bought our first house, and walked into an electrical nightmare! Kevin at Havlin not only was available on a Sunday for a last-minute electrical inspection, he was knowledgeable, open with his advice, and made us feel that we hadn't, in fact, just made a huge mistake. Kevin fixed the issues we had in the home, made it safe, and in my opinion, went above and beyond to help us for an extremely fair price! I would highly recommend Havlin for your electrical work!

The light fixture wasn't working and needed to be replaced and the dimmer needed to be replaced as well. Havlin was really good. They were professional, quick, and well priced. I'd give them the highest grade.

My Garage outlets were only operating at low power and so I called Kevin at Havlin Electrical. It wasn't an emergency so I didn't request an immediate call out but he was at my home within 40 minutes. He diagnosed a faulty breaker on the main panel in the house and went to get a replacement. He had the dead breaker swapped out within half an hour and the problem was fixed.
He was very prompt, very knowledgeable and very helpful. He has become the first person I will call with ANY electrical issues in the future.
I don't know how competitive his prices are as I didn't get any other quotes but I trust he is in the correct ballpark.

They installed an additional box/outlet in a commercial space and also added ethernet cables. I dealt with the two owners, I can't remember their names. They came recommended by my general contractors and they were great, very smooth.

Our electrical panel blew out on a weekend. Kevin showed up within 45 minutes of the call early on a Sunday morning, didn't charge any extra despite it being a weekend. He did a stellar job to code. He was extremely thorough, very honest, kept a clean site and worked fast. He is easy to work with and I highly recommend him. Funny guy too!

Kevin is a rare find. I've been undergoing renovations for a while and have seen the spectrum of contractors. Kevin is top of the group.

From the initial phone call, Kevin was friendly and professional. He called me the day before our appointment to confirm (usually I'm the one doing the reminding), and arrived on time (very very rare in the trades).
Him and his apprentice, Tracy, were courteous, professional, straight to the point, down to earth and so charming. Their rates were very reasonable, and they worked quickly and efficiently. He even took the time (unbilled) to explain and draw notes for me when I mistakenly bought the wrong part so I could try installing a dimmer swtich myself.

I appreciate the invoice being emailed promptly to me after the job was complete. I don't hesitate one bit to recommend him to others! He is a star! I only wish more contractors would be like Kevin.

I found Havlin Electrical on Homestars after another electrician took weeks to reply to my inquiry. I was looking to replacing my older light fixtures with in-ceiling potlights.

Kevin was able to quickly arrange to come by for an estimate, and he showed up on time for each appointment. He did the prep and install over a few days. Though it would have been nice to get everything done at once, it allowed me to change my mind on a few things (based on Kevin's recommendation), which ultimately saved me some money. Kevin and Tracy were friendly and efficient with their work, and laid down cloth to protect my counters, which was much appreciated (though I underestimated how far drywall dust travels or I would have covered up my whole place!).

As an add on request, Kevin was able to diagnose and repair a faulty front door light within 15 minutes. The light had been broken for years, and I was told by another electrician that it was a huge job that would cost in the thousands!
