Mike and his crew did a very good job on removing the cracked, uneven walkway between our house and our neighbour and putting in a new cement one. It is properly graded now so water runs out to the street.
He also redid the parging that was coming off along the lower part of our wall.
The final result looks great.
He was easy to talk to, on time and the project as done as per his estimated quote. I would recommend him for this kind of job.

Because of waterproofing our house we needed to remove our front porch concrete stairs and the side walls of the porch. The previous tiles had to be removed too as it wasn't waterproofed and we had water coming in underneath. Mike and his team did an excellent job removing the old tiles and bricks. The bricks got cleaned up on the side of the house and on the columns. The porch got waterproofed and finished with concrete. Everyday the site was left clean, the garbage was taken away. Mike and his team explained us every step before and during the works. The job was done in time and within the agreed price.

Professional, experienced, responsive, on-time, and reasonably priced. I don't think you can ask for more in a contractor. Mike and his team know what they are doing, and do it well. I had them replace my old patio and sidewalks including the walkway between the houses where water was pooling. They removed the old concrete and poured new concrete so as to have the water funnel appropriately away from the house. His crew was friendly, the job site was always left neat and clean, and the finished product looks excellent. I would definitely recommend Mike for any of your concrete needs.

Had a very cracked up walkway between ours and our neighbours home that was causing water to pool and damage.
Mike and his lovely team showed up broke up and cleared the old concrete and poured a new walk. They made a very subtle water path in it to direct the flow away from our houses. Looks good, works good, love it! They also poured a patch in our basement to help us complete a complicated reno. Thanks guys!! When we need concrete again we will call you back!

I hired Mike and his crew after having received a number of quotes from other reputable companies, all from Homestars. I went with my gut and it paid off. Project was to dig out garage dirt floor and pour in concrete for a 19' x 12' garage. Mike's crew had the job done in two days, hand troweled, with expansion cuts.

I found Mikes company on the net. I liked the customer reviews he had received. He was quick to respond to my RFQ, provided a competitive quote, scheduled an acceptable date, arranged concrete and showed up as promised.
As I had previously removed the old concrete and prepped the foundation, rebar, and floor area, I was concerned that contractors may be hesitant to take on just the pour and finishing, but he said he was more than happy to so.
Mike and his employee Darrel were very compatible and easy to work with, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a company to carry out their concrete work or home improvements.
