Augusta Movers helped us move a house twice in 6 months. After using their service the first time, there was no question, whom we will be using the second time. Both times we used a crew of 3 movers. The price that was offered us was competitive compare to other quotes we received. The move was smooth- the team worked hard and efficiently; they were very good in solving any problems that arose; they took a careful care of our property without causing any damage. We are warmly recommending Auguata Movers!

Augusta movers was an outstanding company that moved us on the same day as the first winter storm of the season. The owner was exceptionally professional and very helpful with the move process. The estimate for the move was higher than the actual cost because all the workers were very efficient and the total cost came well below the initial quote. I recommend this company for your move without any hesitation whatsoever.

Review of Augusta Movers
Summary: We were moved by Augusta from Pickering to Niagara Falls on December 18 & 20. The move was a great experience with no issues or damage. A great Augusta team of 4 (Dave, Spec, Anton (both days) and Nick & Justin (one day each) was greatly appreciated. The actual cost of the move was just over $3,100 but below the estimate. This included loading two trucks the first day, storage for two nights (on the trucks) and unloading in Niagara Falls on the third day. We would not hesitate to recommend or utilize Augusta again.
Strong points:
- We chose Augusta because Dinko (Founder) was very responsive and provided an on-site estimate within hours of our call. Others promised in their ads on-site estimates but they directed us to complete their online form. We did not feel comfortable with their process and wanted a higher level of assurance on the total cost. The real added benefit of Dinko’s walk-thru for us was his packing tips, how to organize boxes and specific examples from other customer moves.
- The moving team was great to work with. They arrived on time each day, were efficient and very careful with our furniture and boxes. They worked well together and were not shy to ask questions as to where an item should be placed. This was really appreciated.
- One of Dinko’s examples which we used was to color code (sticker) the boxes and provide the unloading team with a map i.e. green to basement, red 1 to the master bedroom. It worked very well.
For us, we had stressed about the move and our possessions. However the packing suggestions provided by Dinko helped along with and the caring and the professionalism of the loading and unloading team (Dave, Spec, Anton, Nick & Justin) went a long way to ease concerns. In the end, no issues, no damage and a lower cost. Life is Good!

We were extremely satisfied with our move from Toronto to Thornbury Ontario. From my initial phone call to Augusta Movers, speaking to Dinko I was so impressed with his telephone manner and his sensitivity to our concerns. He came to our home and assured us that he would take care of all the details. In two of our previous moves we had had very bad experiences and were a bit nervous about this one!
The team of three experienced movers, Dave, Spec and Anton, arrived precisely at 9am on our moving day. They were friendly and respectful and worked so well together - a team!
On the other end it was the same. They were fast and efficient and took great care with our furniture.

I was extraordinarily impressed with the work the Augusta team performed today and with the quality of the men themselves. These gentlemen are distinguished examples of the very best service providers. From beginning to end of an 11-hour job they worked hard to the highest professional standard, were unfailingly responsive to every request, and were a delight to work with.

I can not say enough positive things about Augusta Movers. I have never written a review on any website, but felt compelled to comment on our experience with Augusta and specifically Dinko and his crew. All of our concerns surrounding our move were alleviated by the professional manner in which our move was handled from beginning to end.
They truly understand the meaning of customer service. I would highly recommend Augusta movers!

Augusta movers were prompt, courteous, and very careful with our belongings. Everything made it through the move safely! Overall an excellent experience (as much as a move can be, anyway). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We can't thank Dinko and his guys enough for their fantastic work! They made what could have easily unravelled into a moving nightmare, a walk in the park. On moving day, we had another moving company taking our furniture out of storage and into our house. However some of the truck's contents were destined for Montrel where we had a condo to furnish. This was the tricky part. Finding a company who would travel the distance, provide quality service and not fleece us in the process. Augusta movers were such a godsend. From the minute I called for a quote I got a fair price and a "yes we're available". They showed up on time, they were polite, professional and very kind (the two gents helped the other moving company unload the stuff in the house before loading their own truck and traveling 600+km from Toronto to Montreal). Throughout the journey, Dave kept informing me of their progress. When they arrived, they moved the furniture up to our flat in no time. They were careful and respectful of everything. We were so thrilled!
We will definitely call upon them again!

This was for a move of a condo from Toronto to London, with 2 movers.
Advantages:
- the movers worked professionally all day, and did not complain about a single item or issue.
- the truck was the correct (or larger) size. In the past, movers have used too small a truck costing me >3hr moving time.
- wrapped our furniture and glass tables in blankets.
- packed the truck properly to ensure items didn't move.
- had good equipment like cart, blankets, tools, etc. They put down carpets for them to walk on. (Several other movers I've used had little or no equipment and had to use mine.)
- were very quick and strong in carrying heavy furniture to 2nd floor of destination home.
- arrived at the destination very promptly (before me!).
- worked continuously with hardly any breaks during a hard, 8.5hr day. (Except for the drive from Toronto to London.)
- had modern mobile payment system for Visa. No haggling on price or hours required with these pros as the bill matched the quoted rate.

Only 2 complaints:
- they arrived 1/2 hr later than scheduled. They should allow for travel time in Toronto rush hour.
- the estimate for moving time was far too low, at least 2-3hr. The quote was for 2 movers but was more accurate for 3 movers since I worked along with them continuously all day. I also moved 2 lockers by myself to the condo to reduce moving time, which originally were included in quote to be done by movers. However, I did not itemize all contents to help them make a more accurate estimate.
