Worse Service

Booked a chimney sweep, Martin came walked in muddy wet boots, talked about chimneys not up to code, need to do this that and the other, replace this, quoted 3600.00 to do the work. Saw a woman and decided to try to sucker for $. Charged $226.00 for a service call no work done. Got 2 separate level 2 WETT inspections done and both determined Inspection passed and nothing I was told was true. Booking my chimney sweep with a different honest company!

Approximate cost of services:
$226.00

Company Response

I like the way you try to bash my business because your chimneys don't comply to the building code or any instructions manual or the CSA B365
It's funny that you cannot provide with any of your level 2 inspections that apparently you have 2 of them.
This is not the way I do business , the object of the inspection is to prevent you from burning your house and this is why I work for insurance company doing level 1-2- 3 WETT inspections with 30 years experience .

This is the second review they gave me on Facebook and it's another story by these same people . Unbelievable nobody in the world would get 2 wett inspections in a row and still can't provide me with any report .

Yessica Villanueva doesn't recommend MGG Chimney Sweep: "Be careful using these guys. Booked a chimney sweep to have them come in and tell me can’t clean my chimneys cause there are big problems, tell me how my chimney wasn’t up to code, dangerous and next thing I know I’ll have a house party and my house will burn down. Told me I was looking at around $3600 to fix everything. Charged me $226 for that service call which basically consisted of him walking around in dirty wet boots trying to scare me into buying services I don’t need. I got two separate level 2 WETT inspections two days after MGG left to be told all was a lie and everything was fine. Obviously they walked in saw a woman and mistakenly thought easily can scam for money
