Mgg Chimney Sweep

I contacted MGG chimney to provide a quote for a wood stove and prefab metal chimney installation. Martin responded immediately saying that he could provide a free written quote. He arrived the very next day at our house to help figure out a good location for the stove based on our needs and the specifics of the chimney installation and provided a written quote and asked us to order the stove and floor protection ourselves. After our stove arrived (we chose a Drolet brand, and ordered direct from the manufacturer in Quebec), he promptly scheduled the installation date and time. Martin, Joe and Domenic arrived on time and got straight to work. They were extremely respectful, cooperative and worked safely at all times. It was an absolute pleasure to witness their workmanship, as can be attested in the photos. Martin ran a burn test on some newspaper to check the draft from the chimney and verified that the system worked ok. I cannot comment on the chimney cleaning service yet as it is a brand new chimney. As a final note, MGG only uses ICC chimney brand (Made in Canada) and it has a lifetime warranty. This brand is only available to fireplace industry professionals i.e. not for sale via your corner hardware store. If you want honest, professional metal chimney & wood stove installation, that is reasonbly priced and DONE RIGHT by a W.E.T.T. certified company then I recommend MGG Chimney Sweep "sans reservations".
