Krys Construction far exceeded our expectations. We were very nervous about hiring a contractor for our basement renovation as we’d had some bad experiences with tradespeople before. Krys Construction came through for us just as we had hoped. Krys and his secretary Paulina were an absolute pleasure to deal with, but it was the work ethic of the entire team that impressed us the most. This is a team that took the time to explain all the work in detail, give us an upfront cost (a firm cost, not an estimate that fluctuated as the project went on), and a timeline which they maintained throughout the project. The workers were not concerned with billable hours or the cost of a few extra nails here and there—rather, they focused on getting the job done, doing the job well, and taking great pride in the quality of the overall project. During our six-week renovation we always felt comfortable with the good people coming in and out of our house, never felt as if anyone was “slacking off,” and are incredibly happy with the results. We highly recommend Krys Construction to anyone in the Halton area looking to get some work done. In our opinion, this is a company with an incredible work ethic that seems to be a lost art these days. In an industry where it can be hard to find quality, we’re so happy that we came across Krys and his team.
