We began operating in April of 1992 after buying assets from Wrisco Ltd. Wrisco was a major supplier of aluminum patio covers, enclosure material and awnings for over 30 years. For 17 years we operated from the old Wrisco location, a 32,000 square foot facility in the Toronto suburb of Markham. In February of 2009, we moved to our current custom designed, 40,000 square foot facility in Ajax, Ontario (just East of Toronto).

Craft-Bilt’s main business is contractor sales of sunrooms, railing, waterproof decking, awnings and patio covers. We manufacture railing kits, canopy kits and sunroom kits. Our line of retractable fabric shades includes: fabric awnings, motorized screens, free standing canopies and canopies for pergolas.

We take a great deal of pride in the engineering behind our products. Proper engineering is important for obtaining building permits. You will find that Craft-Bilt products exceed the industry standard.

Our sales are primarily to customers in Canada. If you are interested in sunrooms or shade products in the USA, please contact Craft-Bilt Manufacturing Co. in Pennsylvania. They have been producing sunrooms in the United States for over 40 years.

Just received my windows and can't wait to install them. My parents have had the same ones for over a decade and they still look brand new. If they can stand up to winters in the NWT, they will work any where.

Completely satisfied with this project from beginning to end. Gary worked with us to plan out everything. The Craft Bilt aluminum product looks great and promises to be durable with minimal maintenance. The finished product looks great and is very sturdy. Having a rock solid roof over the deck is a game changer. Gary is fantastic - very detail oriented, innovative, always on time, and the cleanup was thorough. Thanks to all who were involved!

We had a long wait 4 1/2 months. The COVID had a lot to do with the wait but we did have to install the windows in the snow. The windows were just as we ordered no problem with the product. We would recommend this company to our friends.

4 sliding windows

The window are fine and the people were fine, it took a lot longer to get the windows than they said but when they came they were fine and well built. 2 packs of windows had no screws I did call and they sent out some screws so I could finish the job

Cottage Screened Room

Our cottage has a small screened room which was built by original owners. The screens were wooden frames, no windows. We used Craft Bilt , 4 track vinyl windows to replace the wooden screens after closing in one end and one front panel of the room with cedar siding. The windows fit perfectly and with the addition of a small electric space heater made our screen room a 3 season room and greatly improved the appearance.

We installed the windows ourselves, very easy. We had no problems, measured for ordering ourselves and ordered on line. Just follow the instructions on Craft Bilt web site. Be SURE to measure in 3 to 4 places
both width and height and be very careful.
Production time was a about one month longer than original promised by Craft Bilt, but they did keep us advised and explaned issues created by Covid where most of the delay.

Awning replacement

Replace a power awning fabric on our house. Everything was done very well. The only issue was the order took much longer than anticipated because of covid. Apparently fabric comes from the US.
Other than that. It was a very good.

The awning was very well built, heavy needs three people to assemble to house. Assembly is very easy. Due to COVID delivery was very late we missed using this season.
