In November, I hired window Butler to clean the gutters of my house, since I did not have a way of getting up there.
they claimed to have done it, and sent me an invoice. with no way of verifying that the job had been done, I took them at their word and paid the invoice.
it was only a few days ago, when I had a contractor up there doing something else that we realized it was never done at all.
I called them about it, they promised to investigate and call me back. They never did, so I called them; they told me they would come on Saturday. Predictably, they never showed up.
it wasn't until Tuesday that I was finally able to get them to do the job. the guy who finally did do it, with one of the rudest people it has been my displeasure to encounter in a professional setting. attached is the "just shingle dust" that he mocked me for being concerned about.
The icing on the cake? When I called them to ask if I would be getting a partial rebate, or even a coupon for all of the trouble, only response I got was " well we showed up didn't we?"
