We hired JMT 6 years ago for a new roof. Like the other reviews here we were very pleased with the job. 6 years later the roof still looks great with almost no signs of wear and tear.
We have had a problem recently with a leak around a vent stack. I wanted to write this review just to say that during a super busy time for John and JMT he was very responsive, and soon as he was able sent someone who did a repair for us. Our experience with John is that he does what he commits to doing. I really appreciate the response and the help with the repair. I've referred JMT to a few friends, and would definitely JMT first for my next new roof.

JMT roofing has done a great job. New roof, new flashing, new skylights, I have the best roof in my neighborhood now. Two guys spent 8 days on the roof with detailed stunning work done.

This is the second time I have used John and his crew to reroof. Our experience the first time was absolutely amazing. John was transparent and honest. I never felt oversold. I wrote a review about it last time and it was for a house I was managing for our friend. There was no question that when I came to re-roofing our own home, I was only going to be with John. Due to the city announcing some sudden changes to their schedule in roadwork and potential impact on access issues, John was able to change his schedule to accommodate my needs and quickly set a date to do the job. He came several times in advance to prepare for the job and never got annoyed when I was feeling indecisive about the color. The crew came on time and completed the job with the upmost professionalism. Everything was protected and everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. Throughout I received photos from John to know exactly what was going on and to see an even greater detail the level of care and skill involved in his work. You can truly feel that everyone on the team has a lot of pride in what they do. Since the job finished there have been countless stares and people coming to us wondering who did our roof. I always tell them there is no one else to consider other than John’s company. A few months after the job was done I noticed some discolouration in certain areas on the roof. John quickly contacted the shingle representative to brainstorm what the reason might be and was fully prepared to pull off the shingles and replace them. Fortunately when Kail arrived we discovered that the issue was unrelated to the shingle itself but due to the fact that there is a lot of pollen in our neighbourhood and certain areas of the roof don’t get exposed to enough rain and a simple hose was able to rinse off all the brown and yellow discoloration. What I’m trying to say is that John will look after you and he will tell you as it is and he’ll service you like crazy to ensure that you’re happy. Please do yourself a favour and choose John for all your roofing and gutter needs. Yes his gutters and his gutter man Leo are also the best in town.

A stand-up job by John and his crew to convert my concrete tile roof to high quality Timberline Ultra HD asphalt shingles. John had some great guidance on what would work and look best and his crew was friendly, conscientious and took the time to answer questions and point out options and recommendations. They did some next level work to vermin-proof the gables and hips to deal with a historical rat problem. Their professionalism and attention to details is commendable.

John is all about customer service, professionalism and quality where little things matter. John was on site everyday and his workers are experienced and professional. They worked diligently and cleaned up everyday. The roof they installed looks amazing. John and his team made this a stress free, great experience. Exceeded our expectations.
