Mike Otani and his team did a first class job painting our small office. They showed up when expected and finished a little faster, minimizing the disruption to the office. Great Job!

Hired 5Star Painting to repair water damage to walls sustained in my dining room and kitchen after a leak in my roof. Delicate patch work was required. After many skim coats and much sanding, priming and painting, the walls look new again. Hamid also painted my large basement, he did an excellent job and i now enjoy earthly colours contrasting my white ceiling, doors & trim. I will use 5Star again in the future. Well done.

Mike's team did a great job painting exterior areas of our bungalow after power washing all surfaces. The painters were efficient, careful and very reliable. Next time I have some painting I would not hesitate to hire 5 Star again.

One major part of the project was restoring our large deck. Of the many deck-restoration companies we contacted, Five-Star Painting was one of the very few willing to do the job due to the difficulty involved. The difficulty, and Mike's recommendation, was that the deck surface required thorough sanding of the surface and re-painting using a wear-resistant paint. The sanding job proved to be difficult because every nook and cranny had to be cleared of old paint. The sanding took considerably longer than anticipated and Mike's crew did a splendid job. At their recommendations, a few wooden boards of the deck had to be replaced, all at reasonable additional expense. Mike and the crew were always very patient, highly professional and very courteous with us (we are demanding!). Mike recommended a particular deck paint that has indeed proven very durable. The painting finish on the deck was excellent. Mike's crew also painted our garage door and selected parts of the house. The finish quality was fantastic throughout. We recommend highly Mike Otani and his crew of Five-Star Painting without any reservation.

Mike and the team at Five Star were great! Timely, professional and courteous. We required assistance in what was the best option for our garage doors that were very weathered from the harsh winter and Mike was honest and told us exactly what needed to be done. Mike was easy to get in touch with and always available to answer any questions we had. Five Star's prices were comparable with our other quotes. Customer service is very important to us so Mike was an obvious choice.

We purchased a new home and needed a rush painting job completed. Mike was great and had the best presentation and expatiation of services compared to the other contractors who quoted. Mike was also the only one who took measurements in order to properly quote the job.
We had a quick turn around time (about 1.5 weeks) before we moved and Mike was able to accommodate us in the schedule every though it was busy season. The project was estimated at 4 days but was completed in 3.5 which was excellent! Mike’s team (Hamid) was very professional and attentive to detail. Their services included a walk around the house prior to final payment to get any issues fixed prior to them leaving.
Over all 5 star was an excellent company and I will definitely use them again in the future for all my painting needs.
