With 2 very large manitoba maples that had been through the ice storm we we worried about how stable they were. The team at Riley's came out first thing in the morning..they were very friendly and professional. They took care in protecting surrounding properties from any damage. They carefully removed branches and their clean up was quick and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone.

I recently had a branch come down (on a neighbour's car) and a second branch cracked and hanging. In selecting a tree service I wanted the whole tree checked from above with a bucket which Mark and his gang cheerfully did - thus my reason for selecting them. Mark will not go up a live tree with crampons as he does not wish to impair the bark and allow insect penetration. Very impressed with their work and clean up. It turned out the branch had been cracked in the ice storm and had attempted to heal itself. Had I used a service with a bucket before, they would have seen the damage and I could have averted this disaster. Very personable team who went over and above.

I totally enjoyed dealing with this company. The owner Mark came out and provided a quote, a quote that was $100.00 less compared to another contractor in the Tree Services field. Mark is a pleasant man who provides amazing customer service. Very professional, friendly and does not pressure you whatsoever about the project after he's provided the quote. He gave me the quote, we had a brief conversation and after that, I was comfortable to start the job. His team did an amazing job cutting down the dead tree in my backyard. They cleaned up so well that you wouldn't have even known they were there other than seeing the tree stump of course. We had 2 large ash trees flagging either side of our house removed by Mark and his team. They did a fantastic job removing the trees and stumps and worked extremely hard all day. They left my property in pristine condition and I even got comments from neighbors about how professional the team was.
The price was exactly as quoted and very competitively priced. Another company offered to beat the quote by 10% but we stuck with Rileys Tree Service because of the solid reviews.

We had Rileys Tree Services do a lot of work for us recently. Right from quotation to work completion Mark and his team were professional, knowledgeable and helpful with advice. We had several quotes and another company told me a three trunk tree would have to come down. Mark said no, just the one dead trunk needed to come out. They did a great job, pruning and dead-wooding trees, bushes and hedges for us. Their price was very reasonable. We will definitely have Mark and his team back again

I had an emergency situation come up relating to a tree on our property. I needed some expert advice on whether i could cut a section of tree root without killing the tree. I called Riley's up and asked my question, they gave me the answer I needed, which was "do not cut this root", which down the road, probably will end up saving the tree's life and in effect, will save me a lot of money if the tree were to die. Good guys!!

It was my first time calling for tree service. I was scared thinking it was going to cost a arm and a leg. I had to have a dangerous branch removed over my home. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. They couldn't use the truck with the long arm because of all the cars parked on the street so he climbed up the tree manually and did a perfect job. It was interesting to watch. There is a lot of physics involved. Very impressed. When they left it was like they weren't even here as everything was cleaned up. Thanks again.

Just had the guys from Rileys Tree Service over, and what a terrific job they did on our two big trees. The trees badly needed trimming due to damage from the ice storm. They guys showed up on time and worked very hard to get the trees into shape particularly careful tin dealing with our two dogs, making sure the gate was closed and locked before they left. I thought the price was good when we got the quote but after seeing all the work they did it was in fact excellent,my Father is a senior and they were very good in considering that in the pricing. They cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone it was a 10 out 10 experience.

Mark was great to respond, came out gave me a quote that was cheapest. I was a bit skeptical since his quote was lower than 4 people I had called previously. But the Home Stars reviews convinced me to hire them. Their work was great. They are very professional and quick. But I am not exactly happy with their cleanup (my front porch and driveway was full of wood dust). I am not sure if that is normal. Also, I was not expecting hole in my back yard created by their stump grinding equipment.
If not for these two issues, they would have been a 10.

Mark and his crew removed 10 stumps from my back yard, as well as cutting down a maple tree, pruning two cherry trees and a magnolia tree. The work was done professionally and when completed all branches were chipped and taken away. They then cleaned up everything and left the yard looking as if they had never been there. Mark was very supportive with his advice and very efficient in his approach to the tasks at hand. Job well done.
