Rm Renovations

We contacted Rob shortly before Christmas, after large patches of paint came off our living room walls while removing the trim. To our dismay the wall underneath was in terrible condition. Rob returned our call right away and was at our place for a consultation two days later. He was very forthcoming with advice and options, and we immediately felt like we could trust him completely. Amazingly he was able to schedule the work within a week and have it completed before Christmas. Junior, who completed the work, was a pleasure to have in our home and went above and beyond in his work. We were extremely happy with the results, and have already contacted Rob to do some more work for us.

We had a flood in our basement a few weeks ago. It was a stressful time for us, and we were looking for a contractor to redo our walls and ceilings in the basement. Rob was great. Rob took the time to give us an estimate the same night and took us through the process step-by step in terms of what was involved and timeline. What stood out with Rob compared to other contractors was his genuine personality - he really seemed to care. He definitely went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend Rob for the job!

Called Rob's Renos to quote on an already started drywall job that needed to be finished. My first contractor had to step away due to a family issue. Rob's quote was fair, not the cheapest but what stood out for me was his knowledge of what needed to be done to correct earlier drywall problems from my first contractor.
His team always arrived on time and took great pride in their work. Rob or his guys kept me informed through out the job on issues/fixes during the installation.

We had a positive experience with Robs Renos. Rob really cares about the quality of his work and customer satisfaction. He provided many updates and explained his work throughout the duration of the project. He checked-in regularly to ensure that we were satisfied with the work. He worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner and was respectful of our family needs. He managed to arrange his lunch breaks and other work while the children napped. THis meant a lot to us. Rob and his guys did an excellent job in replacing the torn up drywall I had left in terrible condition after removing the old kitchen backsplash tiles we had in place during our kitchen update. Rob suggested pulling off the old drywall instead of repairing or patching the old stuff and his guy did an amazing job at a great price and was very quick. Thanks again Rob!

Rob responded rapidly to our request, provided a fair price and completed an excellent job installing drywall on two ceilings. The job was completed to a high standard in the promised time and communications were excellent throughout.

We found Rob through Homestars. As usual we got a bunch of different quotations. Rob's came in competitive and we felt like based on the reviews here he was our best choice for the project. We were happy we went with Rob.

The project was fairly large and complicated, drywalling the third floor of our house, which has a lot of angles and cathedral ceilings. Rob and his team of 3 guys worked very hard to get the boards up in a couple of days. He then had Robbie and Junior come in to do the taping work. The finished product looks great.

Rob was very up front about the cost, the potential problems that we (they) might face on the job and gave us options as we went along as to how we wanted to proceed. When it was all done he came back for a walk through to make sure we were happy with all of the work. In fact, he's coming back again once we're done priming, just to make sure that everythign is done to our satisfaction.

High quality work, honest, hardworking and up front. We'll be using Rob when it comes to our next project.

This is the man to call. I had a hole in my wall that needed immediate attention, and Rob made it a priority. His quote was fair and honest, and the work is amazing. Rob made quick work of the damage, and there's no way of telling there was ever a hole.

While I know it’s numerically impossible to improve on a 10 out of 10 rating – a 10 does not adequately describe our level of joy after seeing the end product that is our brand new basement. A place we once referred to as the dungeon is now stunningly beautiful. While Rob has the aesthetic sensibilities of a fine craftsman, his technical knowledge is unsurpassed in my opinion. With each challenge that a 50-year-old basement can throw at you, Rob came armed with solutions that never compromised the vision for the space.

Even when there was no work scheduled, Rob would come by to see us to ensure we were happy with the progress and to address any concerns we had – we really didn’t have any as he addressed them himself – leaving a picky control freak like me with nothing to say, ha, ha. Rob always went above and beyond and he did it on time and on budget.

It’s challenging to describe the way that Rob works largely because I have never encountered someone with his values. It’s like he’s working on his own home – that’s the feeling you get. I am going to miss the high-fives Rob – but we will no doubt see you soon!
