We recently had Jason of Green Crown Arborworks come to consult regarding the health of trees that had been planted in our yard a couple years ago. To say that we were pleased with the service we received is a tremendous understatement. Jason responded very quickly and courteously to my phone message. He arrived promptly, and immediately zeroed in on problems with roots being the significant issue that was compromising our trees. He was an excellent teacher: explaining the steps we needed to take once the trees were dormant to save them. He dug about in the dirt, showing us to what we needed to attend. His knowledge and enthusiasm were obvious. As our one hour consult time was not up, Jason continued around our property, examining trees, pointing out things to be aware of and suggesting possible species we might want to consider planting. He was very generous with his time and a few days later even sent us a series of photos of a tree he thought would work well for us. It was a real pleasure to encounter someone with such a perfect balance of academic and practical knowledge. In sum, I can only say that I would highly, highly recommend Jason / Green Crown to any one needing any sort of arboreal consultation.

Jason is extremely knowledgeable and he provided a straight forward assessment of each of the trees we wanted to have pruned.
He gave us a very accurate quote. The work was performed in a timely manner by Kevin and Dan. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly and courteous. We couldn't be more pleased with their work and strongly recommend them for any tree pruning job. We will definitely want them to manage any future tree pruning on our property.

Moved into a new house and the tree growth was out of control. The property has been a rental for probably over a decade and the maintenance outside the house has been lacking for years.

Jason and Kevin of Green Crown did major pruning and removal of small shrubs and trees to open up the space to more sun.

They were fast, efficient, professional, and did a great job with clean up. They are coming back to take care of one more tree, which will first be dealt with by BC Hydro as it interferes with the powerlines. They are also very nice and normal people! After getting several other quotes for arbor work and meeting other trades people in general, there are some really strange people out there!

They were also hired by two of our neighbours to take care of some of the trees on their lots.

I will definitely use Green Crown again for any tree work I need done and I have no hesitation referring them to family and friends.
Jason did very careful work without causing any damage. He has a very good sense of the best treatment for each type of tree and shrub.
In addition to the pruning and tidying that he performed, he very generously spent about 45 minutes going around my yard with me, identifying the many types of shrubs and tress, and telling me the best ways to care for them.
