I cannot say enough about the crew from Cargo Cabbie led by Ryan who moved all of our possessions from one house to another. They were professional from start to finish and the entire team worked hard without a single complaint. You could tell that these 6 guys liked and respected each other and had smiles on their faces the entire day. They responded to every need and did not blink an eye when they needed to take apart furniture that would not get through a narrow stairway. They evaluated the potential challenges in a walkthrough and set about making the entire move a quick process. They came prepared with everything from blankets, tape and wrap to floor runners and dollies. Finally, the price we were quoted was expensive, but this team was so efficient and they did not use all of the supplies that were quoted to us and when we received our final bill it was less than the original quote because the move took less time and used less equipment. I will use them again.

We were moving from a two bedroom condo and Cargo Cabbie quotes us for 6 hours with 3 movers. Ryan, Jill and Raye arrived early on the day of moving. They lay the mat on the door and wrapped our furniture to ensure that the furniture does not get scratched and is well taken care off. They also were quick and efficient and the move was done 1.5 hour earlier than the quoted 6 hour.

A week before moving our daughter into her condo we found out there was a height restriction in the loading dock. We figured there had to be a moving company that specialized in moving clients into condos. We found Cargo Cabbie. We're so happy we did. We would highly recommend this company. The crew arrived early and were extremely efficient. The move time was shorter than anticipated which was great. Amanda in the office was lovely to deal with. Will definitely use Cargo Cabbie again.

This is the 2nd time that I use Cargo Cabbie services. This time was moving some furniture into their storage until our move to a new home. The service staff do an amazing job at wrapping your furniture to ensure no damage. They also cover areas that they walk through to move furniture. all my contact points were excellent - from 1st contact to the move. I would highly recommend them. Staff are courteous, very professional and respectful of your home and your needs. They truly are excellent at what they do.

This company helped me move all the contents of my condo into storage while I was stuck out of the country due to Covid travel restrictions. Everything was done by the same crew over a two days. I searched for a mover with storage that can handle it all and I can report that these guys were awesome to deal with. Kudos To Amanda, Javier and team. I greatly appreciated your efforts and help. It was great that the team managed to deal with the concierge and security of my building to ensure everything was completed in a smooth and timely manner, even when the elevator stopped working. I was informed that their attitude never wavered and their professionalism is what got the job done. Most importantly, I was managing the team from abroad and the office was always keeping me up to date about what was happening during my move. Ten out of ten!

On a referral from a family member, we used Cargo Cabbie to pack up our house, move everything into storage for 2 months, and then move into our new house. They provided exceptional service. They made the process as seamless and easy as possible. We had a point person (Ryan, who was awesome) to run the show on the day-of and they were a pleasure to deal with. Could not recommend them higher.

My wife and I were anxious when it came to picking the right moving company for our move. We had some delicate pieces of furniture, art, and items of great sentimental value to us, and we had heard horror stories from friends who hired shady companies and had an awful experience.

All of those concerns disappeared with Cargo Cabbie. Their estimate process was smooth and easy, and their Logistics Coordinator, Amanda, was always prompt, friendly, and professional when it came to our inquiries. She was always able to provide answers to our many questions, and helped us with details to obtain a special parking permit for their movers.

On the day of the move, the movers arrived on time and immediately got to work. They never slacked off or tried to "run out the clock" to over charge us. They packed everything with extreme care, were incredibly friendly and easy to get along with. Ryan, one of the movers, could be heard telling the other movers, "Unpack as you go guys, we want to save these guys some money". In fact, by the time Ryan and his crew were done, we were charged significant less than our original estimate. When was the last time you heard of a company trying to save you money?

The team went above and beyond during our move, and made it a stress free day. They even disassembled/reassembled some tricky pieces of furniture that we didn't think could be moved. At the end of the move, we did a walk around to check each item and ensure it was in good condition.

Out of all our items, there was only some minor damage to an older wooden Muskoka chair. However, the team were upfront and honest about it and took full responsibility. Head office reached out to me the next day and they have taken it for repair (for free, we had the protection plan just in case). Every other piece of furniture was in amazing shape, including a large canvas painting we had.

If you want piece of mind, this is the company to go with. They are honest, hard working, and professional. No hidden fees/costs, amazing care for your furniture and property (no damaged walls or scuffed floors). This company is an amazing example of everything a moving company should be.

This is the second time in 2 years we have used Cargo Cabbie and they have been terrific each time. The guys are prompt, careful, fast and accommodating. The customer service is top notch - lots of check ins and followups. I cant recommend them highly enough!

During the COVID pandemic, my downtown flat lease expired during the time I was not able to return to Canada. Cargo Cabbie were my heroes. They accurately quoted from photos, packed my small flat, moved and placed all of my belongings into storage without me being onsite. I was stuck without this wonderful service! The staff and crew were extremely courteous, made follow up calls, coordinated my unusual situation without any concern or hesitation. "We will handle everything" was their principle. Really outstanding service, many thanks!

Is it possible that a moving company could feel like family? Yes! Cargo Cabbie was it for me. I work on many HGTV shows and have seen my fair share of movers. They are definitely not all created equally. I knew I was willing to pay more for professionals who do great work and can be trusted to take care of items. Many moving companies have a revolving door of guys that aren't adequately trained and are just showing up for the day. That's not what I wanted. It was great to be given an accurate bottom line, so you're not stuck with a crazy bill at the end that you didn't anticipate. I've actually had a few years of experience dealing with this stellar company.

I booked Cargo Cabbie for a significant move of a 3-level five-bedroom Edwardian house 2 years ago. They did an in-person assessment of the property and gave me an extremely detailed quote. There were no surprises. The move happened quickly and efficiently during one of the worst snowstorms in Toronto. There was 4ft of snow, and the team handled it like total pros. They carefully wrapped all of my mirrored furniture pieces and were extremely careful with my huge canvas art. They took extra care of my $6000 Mitchell Gold sofa and finished the job when they said they would. One of the key reasons I went with this company is because they offer a storage facility that is secure and temperature controlled. I needed short-term storage for about three months...or so I thought at the time.

Soon as the move was completed and they drove away, my job was done. I didn't have to go to a storage facility and oversee movers putting items into storage cages or rooms in which I had to monitor and be the keeper of the keys. I needed the move done quickly and to part ways with my items as soon as they hit the truck. As soon as they left, I locked the door, dropped house keys at a law office and caught a flight. Who can do that on a moving day? Only with this company would I chance that!

I had not a single worry about whether or not I would be left high and dry, my items would go missing, or if it would be movers who were just day workers making a quick buck. This company is professional every step of the way and really care about their clients. They take care of absolutely everything.

My three months of storage ended up being almost 2 years. Life happened, and so did Covid. I would occasionally need an item, of which I would book a time to go, and someone would escort me to my lot, the shrink wrap and tarps would be removed off of my skids, and someone would help me find what I was looking for. I never thought that I was a bother, and people bent over backward for me and would help me load up my car with whatever I needed. Javier, the owner, would always say hi in the warehouse like he knew me....kind of like the caregiver at the daycare I dropped my kids off at two years ago and never bothered to pick up! ; )

When it came time to get my items out of storage and do another move, Amanda and Kat were brilliant at working out times and new quotes for me. I had all of my items brought from the storage facility to my new house. I needed a separate move to get things from my temporary rental apartment that I acquired over a long period. I even scheduled two additional locations to pick up items stored at friends' garages or stores. Cargo Cabbie handled all of the instructions for each pick-up point effortlessly.

Javier, the owner, even called me personally to check in on everything! The point people for my moves were always in charge of running the teams, and it was like a well-oiled machine. Ryan is a rockstar, and Ali is the sweetest! 300lbs marble table? No sweat! Runners on the floor and Covid protocols to the letter. They carefully remove packaging and assemble furniture as they go.

Moving is seriously one of the most stressful things on the planet! Do yourself a favor and recognize that paying a little bit more gets you way more. Why stress? In life, there are many moves! Cargo Cabbie are my movers for life!
