Land Con Ltd

We hired Land Con to undertake a major renovation of our backyard, including a new and expanded stone patio, installing an outdoor kitchen and pergola, all new landscaping, waterproofing and a new driveway. We selected LandCon after meeting them at the Toronto Home Show and researching their past projects and reviews on Home Stars. The whole process and overall experience was as we hoped. The initial planning process with Taylor was informative and interactive, and we were really pleased with Taylor’s 3D modeling of our ideas and input. We had a great work crew with John and his team who worked very hard and deliberately to turn the plan into reality during the hottest and most humid days of the summer. We were fortunate that we were home most days during construction and could deal with the various issues (and there were some as there is in any construction project) in a timely way. There was very good communication throughout with Taylor, John and the crew, and with Jeremy (LandCon’s co-owner) who visited the project on a regular basis and provided many emails and texts on the status of the work. We were even able to take advantage of the time the crew was here to add a small project of laying new sod in our front yard. All told, it took about a month to complete the planning phase and 5-6 weeks from the start of construction to the finish and we are extremely pleased with the work and the transformation of our backyard.
