Charlie did a great job, was efficient, timely , accomodating and easy to work with. We were unable to have the washer and dryer delivered to us on time and he was kind enough to stop by the following weekend to finish the job.

Charlie showed up on-time (in fact, I was late) and promptly set about doing a competent and efficient job of installing a decorative hose reel, which needed to be drilled into brick and a custom made wrought iron garden gate, both of which we had purchased a year ago. Charlie did a fabulous job on both tasks. We would not hesitate to use him again or refer him to friends and neighbors for those tasks you think you have the time or ability to do yourself, when in actual fact you can`t. Don`t do it, Just call Charlie.

We called Charlie to help us fix our disastrous laminate flooring situation. The floor had been installed completely wrong and many of the boards were cut too short causing the boards to separate a good 3-4 inches in places. We could see our subflooring!!

Charlie gave us a very fair quote and was easy to get a hold of to set up a time for him to come in. He arrived with his partner right on time and set to work. He made sure the repair was done right, going even beyond and fixing some of the other smaller gaps for us without raising the price. He explained everything he did thoroughly and was very friendly and personable. He and his partner were also completely comfortable with my cats, which as a pet owner is always a concern when you have to call someone to fix something. He made sure to take great care in cleaning up any dust or marks that the repairs had caused on the floor. I think he may have even cleaned some scuff marks we caused rather than him.

Overall we highly recommend Charlie and should we need a handyman for another job you can be sure that we will be calling him! Thanks again Charlie!

Charlie and his team did a great job around our house! Jobs included repair of door strikers, painting a room, repairing and painting ceilings, hanging decorative plaques, drywall repair, shelf hanging. They generously corrected mistakes made by my previous "painter", which I hadn't requested them to do. Although some initial rescheduling took place, he provided compensation for that and was punctual on the day we scheduled. I also appreciated that they cleaned up after themselves. Charlie was fantastic. I have used a few handymen in the past, however, not ones that were rated on this website. I have never been completely satisfied with the work or the customer service. I am often chasing them or encouraging them not to cut corners. I can honestly say, that Charlie exceeded my expectations. He is extremely customer service oriented, professional and thorough. And, in addition to those attributes, he is personable and trustworthy. I have already recommended him to a handful of friends and I am sure they will have the same positive experience I have had. I intend to call him back frequently!

We were very happy with the work that Charlie completed on our basement. He always arrived on time and checked in with us along the way to ensure we were happy with the work. We appreciated the suggestions that he made to keep things within our budget. We were extremely pleased with repairs/renovations he did to our basement washroom and laundry room and would not hesitate to call him again for further work in the future. We have already recommended him to many of our friends.

I called Charlie to help with my mile-long "to-do" list based solely on reviews I had read on Homestar. He not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Charlie is professional, yet personable, capable and helpful as he breezed thru my list even refusing to let me help with any clean-up. Charlie's rates are quite reasonable and his work is guaranteed. I am thrilled to have finally found such a reliable handyman. Charlie and his apprentice were reliable, honest, and reasonably priced. Him and his crew arrived right on time and cleaned up before they left. He even followed up to ensure that everything was working properly the next day. Charlie not only came out on time but he was professional efficent and put in a dishwahser, installed a ceiling fan and left the area even cleaner than it was prior to his arrival. He was polite and very organized and had the job done with no problems. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that needed the services of a handyman. His prices are very reasonable and he stands behind his work, telling us to call him if there were any problems. Needless to say we didn't have to call!

When our tenants of 9 years recently moved out, the apartment needed to be painted and revitalized. Charlie and his crew came to our rescue. Knowledgeable, skilled, prompt, and courteous Charlie provided excellent service at a reasonable price. We definitely recommend Mr. Rescue.
