I found John on Homestars and based on the reviews hired him to paint our finished basement to freshen it up. John gets right to work and had our entire basement painted two coats plus trim in just over two days. Very neat, great job - Looks great! Thanks John - see you in the New Year.

I contacted John (Pretty Handy Guy) based on his Homestars reviews and I was not disappointed. He arrived at my home at 9am every day and worked through till about 6pm. All his work was well done and the house was left neat at the end of every day. I am happy with the job and plan to used him again.

We were delighted with the painting of the main living area of our condo, I had been afraid about “change”, however, with John’s encouragement I tried something new and the results were outstanding! Another recent project was the “revamp” of an entry hall table, the transformation was awesome and I’m now the proud owner of a one of a kind piece!

I called a painting co in the area for an estimate on painting my garage door and front door - they quoted me for a full day's work for two painters. Then I called John and he did the work for about 1/3 of what the "professional" painters had quoted, and he did a fantastic job of it. I will definitely call John in the future.

Very accommodating, very dedicated to do a great l job, John is a very professional "handyman" to have in your contact list. John built a ramp to help an elderly person enter into the house from a garage. We gave John a vision and he built it! When we suggested a few more features, John was very accommodating to make some changes to the ramp that helped out the cause. Thanks John.

I have employed John before and his work is excellent. On this occasion though he slotted us into his very busy schedule for a much smaller job which we only decided upon when he was here the first time. We were very pleased to get this job done so promptly and also so proficiently thanks to his flexibility.

Found John on HomeStars. Needed various outdoor jobs done. Deck staining, Concrete repair/sealing, foundation parging and painting. After making initial contact vie email, John connected with me promptly and we scheduled an initial meeting and project review. He showed up on time and was very professional. Excellent first impression! He was very clear on his proposal and provided a clearly written quote and timeline. After agreeing to a schedule, a 50% deposit was provided and work began. He always arrived promptly and was very diligent in his work. Always cleaned up the work area after each day. He was left alone many times and never once did I feel the need to be concerned. Completed the job on time and on budget! Very satisfied with his services and would recommend him without hesitation. Thank you John for job well done!

Hired John to do a number of small, odd-jobs around my home in preparation for selling it. He was very easy to work with, showed up on time and there were no surprises with price. I will be using his services again when moving to my new home and have already recommended him to a friend.
