Mac Leans Custom Kitchens

We are quite picky and we have had many issues with poor work being done in our house in the past and have found it challenging to find reliable, honest, quality contractors who do a decent job. It was a pleasure to have found Maclean’s. We are very happy with our new kitchen. All of the team at Maclean’s met our picky expectations and left no detail unturned. It was a bonus that they were so wonderful to work with. We felt like we were a part of their family when they were working in our home. We will certainly hire them again when we are ready to renovate our bathrooms.

We hired MacLean’s Custom Kitchens to do our kitchen/family room renovation based on a recommendation from good friends who had a similar reno done by them…..and we are very happy that we did. We are thrilled with the end product and this is due to their top-quality work and finishes. Their skill and experience shows in the work that they do.

Terry, Dave, Trevor and Barb work as a team to provide their customers with excellent service. They listened to our dreams for our project and worked with us in arriving at a final game plan. Along the way, they accommodated suggestions from us with a smile!

We can’t say enough about the experience and skill of the team. Their knowledge of all the parts of a renovation and how to meet the inherent challenges that come their way was exceptional. The sub-contractors used were excellent. The end result was terrific.

To top it off, the MacLean’s family team were great people to work with. They were personable, friendly and good humoured…….excellent individuals. They were always on time, reliable and hard-working. We enjoyed having them in our home very much and we miss them now.

When you’re considering which company to hire to do a major renovation in your home, you look to recommendations and reviews and you put a lot of weight in them. We did that with MacLean’s and we are extremely happy that we chose them. We highly recommend them to you!

We recently had a complete kitchen renovation done by the MacLeans Custom Kitchens and Bathrooms’ team. Heading into this project we had a number of designs/estimates and talked to many people before we made a decision on whom we would hire to complete this project for us. A kitchen renovation is a major undertaking as it is the heart of your home and we wanted to ensure it would be done right.

The MacLeans’ team could not have been easier to deal with throughout the entire project. We talked to them initially about what we were hoping to accomplish and formulated our wish list. They were very accommodating about talking through the plan and adapting the plan to fulfil our wishes while bearing in mind the available space and their vast experience in completing many kitchen renovations.

We are so very happy with the finished kitchen and after living with the new kitchen for the past six months don’t regret any of the changes.

The MacLeans’ team were hardworking and truly care about their work and the customer’s satisfaction with the completed job. Barb, Terry, Dave and Trevor were a great team to work with and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again or recommend them for your next renovation.

The gang at MacLean's kitchens were great. The project was completed quickly and on time. Barb had great insight in helping with the design and Dave was really helpful with ideas on site. Thanks to Terry and Trevor as well. They are a great team and we love the transformation of our kitchen. I definitely give them a 10 out of 10!

This is the second time we have use MacLean’s Custom Kitchen to do major renos in our home. First time was in 2015 where they took our kitchen right back to the studs and created one of the most glamour’s working kitchen any of our family and friends have ever seen, and this includes in magazines as well. We didn’t think twice when it was time to renovate two of our bathrooms. Not only did Terry and Dave work within our budget, they were able to show us ways to minimum our expenses. They always provide solid advice and suggestions. The second bathroom was totally gutted and a new spa like bath emerged. Instead of a tub and shower we now have a 8’ long walk in shower complete with waterfall shower heads and much much more.

Barb, Terry and Dave were amazing to deal with for our kitchen Reno project. They were able to take our ideas and make them a reality. During the initial stages, they were very flexible when we needed to make some updates and were very accommodating. We needed to completely gut the existing kitchen and weren't sure if we would stick within the 3 wk timeframe. They made it happen! Will definitely work with MacLeans again!

This is a great company to work with. We had a total kitchen demo, including partially removing a wall and installing new cabinetry, floors, electrical, venting, etc. They translated our ideas to paper, offering a few practical suggestions and everything worked out perfectly. The customer service from Barb in the showroom to Dave, Terry and Trevor for the install was exceptional. We would definitely deal with MacLean's in the future!

In 2017, we hired MacLean's Custom Kitchens to redo our entire first floor (kitchen, living room, dining room and family room) and they did such a fabulous job that it only made sense to have them give our two upstairs bathrooms a complete makeover in 2019. Of course, they exceeded expectations the second time around as well. The craftsmanship was excellent (their attention to detail is spectacular), work was done on time and on budget and we couldn't be any happier with the end results. Barb, Terry, Dave and Trevor are fun, friendly and fastidious about their work. Well done, gang. ...!

Working with the MacLeans was a very satisfying experience. From the beginning to the end they provided solid advice and suggestions. The work was done in a timely manner, no undo delays. Both the MacLeans and their sub contractors paid attention to details and delivered what they promised. The MacLeans have gone out of their way to ensure that the job is completed to both our satisfaction and to their standard. Due to their friendly easy going manner they were a pleasure to have in our home. I have already suggested them to friends.

This is our second project with Maclean's, the latest being a small kitchen renovation. We were considering taking down a wall to expand our kitchen, but Terry advised us to work within our existing space. We appreciated his insight. It was clear that they were more concerned about making sure our needs were met over their bottom dollar. This advice saved us a considerable amount of money and allowed us to keep the project to a reasonable budget. The entire team, including Barb and the sub-contractors, were very helpful every step of the way from the design concept, selection of cabinetry, countertop, flooring, lighting, etc. through completion. Once the project got started, everything rolled along quite smoothly without any significant issues or delays. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the end result. We now have an updated, functional kitchen which the entire family enjoys. We are grateful to the Maclean's team for their work. They are good, honest, hardworking people, and we would highly recommend them.
