Appliance Service Centre

I recall using Appliance Service Centre years ago so phoned them right away after finding review of their work on this website. The fellow I spoke to (Terry?) encouraged me to try to start the dryer again. And....it started...hooray. No service call, just good advice.

About a year ago I chose terry based on reviews from this web site to repair my fridge. I had a good idea what was wrong with the fridge but was uncomfortable about doing the repair myself. Terry confirmed the problem and promptly repaired it. He worked around my schedule and had to travel clear across the city all for under 200.00.
Yesterday my wife called Terry to look at our Gas stove, the oven wasn’t functioning, Terry’s partner came today (ON TIME) and he confirmed the oven’s igniter wasn’t achieving the ignition temperature required, he repaired it on the spot, this impressed me due the fact that that the only info provided on booking an appointment was the make of the stove, not even the year is was built was given. Cost of repair was 300.00. I will be using Appliance Service Centre again if incure any other appliance issues.

My dryer broke down, so I called these guys based on the good reviews here. They came to my house, took about 5 minutes to tell my wife the dryer can't be fixed, and charged me $90 for a 1 hour call. Certainly they could have told me on the phone trying to fix a dryer is not cost effective. A total waste of time & money dealing with them. I found an excellent new unit on Kijiji for $60. Very disappointed!

I found this company on home stars. They were on time, were able to get the parts I needed at a good price. They were clean and friendly and when their replacement part failed they came and replaced it for free.

Excellent response time to my request for an appointment, a call the night before to set the time of arrival and from there, prompt, friendly, professional service. Issue was diagnosed quickly, fixed and repairman was on his way ~ and all for a fair price. Would not hesitate to use this company again.

The reviews are all true! Our 20+ year old trusty Maytag washing machine stopped working so I went online to try to find a reputable repair service. After reading the reviews here I decided to try Appliance Service Centre Calgary, and I was quite happy with their prompt and reasonably priced repair of my washing machine. Terry came by and got the machine working again in no time. I hope they are able to continue to provide excellent, fast service in the future.

I highly highly recommend Appliance Service Centre!! This is the second time I have used this company and both times the service was excellent. The repair man came on time, was very knowledgeable and solved the problem, all the while explaining to me in clear, understandable terms, what he was doing and why. I cannot exaggerate the efficiency of the company. The fellow that was sent out truly knew what he was doing. We have been living with these annoying sounds for some time because we were stalling replacing them. Well both were simple to get fixed with such a low cost. I was impressed that the dryer part was taken out cleaned and put back in. Honesty and integrity are part of this company. Just the right amount of friendliness and conversation. So many places will not service only sell new. I would definitely call them again. Thanks so much.

Terry came right at 12pm when he said he would, explained what he was doing throughout the whole repair and testing process and spent over an hour fixing the washer. He had to test out two electronic boards and only charged me for one for the repairs. The cost of service was $410 but I was so impressed with his service that I gave him $500. He makes you feel very comfortable and really cares about troubleshooting your problem. No hesitation with giving Terry a 10 out of 10 - keep rocking!

Quick response, professional and easy natured. It can be scary allowing a stranger into your home after booking an online appt. An immediate email response notified me that I would be contacted to confirm the appointment time. I then received a call confirming 2 hr time frame and Darcy showed up ready to work. Thankfully he was perfectly comfortable my 100lb dog overlooking while he worked. Pleasant, reliable service and I would not hesitate to call on them again.
