At first it seemed like this company was competent and responsive. We negotiated a significant renovation for a price that I prepaid. The importance of time was communicated. This all occurred on June 10th.
The scope of work involved cleaning and repainting the interior of a garage. Applying a slat wall system to several areas. Installing 2 suspension shelving rack systems and a shelving/cupboard system for another area. Lastly, constructing a dogwash.
A very significant portion of the job went 45+ days over schedule. The primary reason was the project manager's inability to order product on time. For some reason saving a few dollars on shipping became more important than completing this job on time.
Back in August the project still required a set of doors for the last remaining thing to finish it all up. The project manager said that he would get back to me in a couple of days, it is now November.
What is the current status you ask? Well I have attempted to call and text the project manager several times and I have gotten 1 response (3 weeks ago).
Currently, I have an unfinished project and a company representative that will not respond to me and finish what they promised they would.
I am now stuck with a significant renovation and appear to have no recourse if anything goes wrong with the work.
If you are in a bind and need to have work done make sure you have penalty clauses in your contract and do not pay for the work all at once.
