On 2 floors; 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, walls moved
We had Corefront do quite extensive renovations in the spring/summer. Two kitchens, three bathrooms including moving walls. Flooring on two levels including tile, carpet and hardwood, doors replaced and windows put in. We lived in the house the whole time - us, four children and a new golden doodle puppy!
We chose them because we just plain old liked them and their prices were in-line. They gave us such a good idea of how things would look and put a lot of work and effort even before we gave them the work. Their interior designer gave us some great ideas and politely guided us away from some of our dumber ones. We also liked the fact that their choices were extensive, but not overwhelming - a real bonus for me as I have a hard time making decisions.
What didn't go well....hmm renovations are intrusive and painful but you simply have to go in expecting that! -There were occasionally times when workers wouldn't show up when expected, but the project manager was so good at getting back to us, or getting the ball rolling. We had some appliances delivered damaged but that was corrected and we had a delay in our Kitchen cabinets. We had a leaky toilet seal a couple of months after the renovations were done, but this was fixed immediately - and very well too. I think it was one of their contract companies that did that. Their workers were very polite and left things as tidy as possible. I think that was it - really not bad for such an extensive reno. We both feel that the work was definitely worth the money and we will use them again next year for some outside work that we need done.
