Lusso Design (Entry Doors & Door Inserts)

Andrew was very responsive, professional and paid great attention to detail. We ordered a "made to order" pattern that was manaufactured right here in the GTA. The ironwork is beautiful and more substantial looking than imported inserts. In addition, Andrew took the time to re-align our doors properly and now it opens and closes smoothly. We love our new door inserts. Everyone comments on how great it looks.

We contacted Andrew through a referral from a friend. Andrew was great to deal with and had a great attention to detail. He presented us with a lot of different options and even customized the door insert to my husband’s very picky taste. I was tired of my kitchen sliding doors which lead to outside patio. I found that it was very difficult to bring furniture in and out and large items. My sliding doors were not standard and much smaller. Andrew came by to give me a quote to have them replaced. I was very impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. Exceeded my expectations of door installation! Not only the insert, but the hinges upgraded, handles were also installed, door bell, AND the door was also re-aligned to finally shut properly. (oh and the locking mechanism for the double door he saw was poor, so replaced those with better ones)

Definitely a good eye for detail and ensuring a job is fully complete to very high standards. I am a VERY picky person and happy to say I would recommend (and do) to my clients and friends (as we get many questions on our door from everyone)

I am constantly getting compliments on the door inserts, the ability to customize the project by selecting the different types of glass to the wrought iron design itself will truly give your home a custom look. Andrew pays a lot of attention to detail and it shows in the workmanship. The ball bearing door hinges are one of those little pieces of detail that brings the quality from good to great.

Based on the comments on Homestar we contacted Andrew for an estimate. His feedback during the initial meeting was very informative and his suggestions were well received. We have been extremely satisfied in terms of cost, aesthetics and quality of the door insert and custom side panel provided. His price to supply and install is less when compared to buying from Home Depot or Lowes neither of which provide installation services, especially if non-standard sized products are installed.

I found Lusso on-line, but once I started talking to people, I realized most of my neighbours had already used this company, and had great results. Andrew is professional, sincere, and prompt - a rarity in contractors. He provides not only the insert, but completes the job from A-Z with heavy duty hinges and lock/handle hardware. He is a meticulous installer, paying attention to every detail, and leaves the work area spotless. I was so impressed with the whole experience, I had a referral set up for him as he was collecting his tools to leave. He is exceptional at what he does, and I wish him a prosperous future.
