Crew arrived on time. The guys were polite and friendly. They removed our old furnace and before I knew it, they installed our new furnace. Chris was the first contact I had with the company. I liked his style…he covered the information I needed thoroughly and without spending too much time (unlike other companies that seem to think longer is better). My experience has been a positive one.

We recently had a new AC & Furnace installed by Convertible. Many great things to say!
1) They were literally 50% cheaper than another larger Hamilton-area company. When you have an unexpected furnace failure, the last thing you want is a massive bill – knowing the cost was so reasonable made us feel so much better.
2) Mike came out to our house on a Sunday morning to have a look and provide us a costing which was very much appreciated.
3) On the day of installation, the team was fantastic. They came in, kept to themselves, did what they needed to do & got the job done. The balancing they did gave us 10 times better Airflow! I found out that the two guys who came in have been working together since 1991!
4) They also had to quote on-site for some minor duct repair and I was pleased that they charged such a low amount – I didn’t feel like I was being gouged on the spot.
5) I was also very impressed with how they kept everything tidy and removed every last piece of the old units/piping/garbage/packaging – they even swept the floor!
6) Lastly, a job that had been pre-quoted actually came in to be less, so they will be crediting me back a few dollars.

I would highly recommend this company based on the excellent service we had from start to finish. Truly Impressed!!!

Adam S. from Convertible came to our rescue when our combo unit - furnace coil was leaking water. Came the same day when he contacted us. Originally he had come to take measurements only but when he saw our situation, he put in a temporary fix and then made arrangements to come in as soon as he can to replace it with a PV Water Tank and a proper furnace.

He went the second mile for us and we are truly appreciative of his effort. How can we not let Convertible have our business then? A few days later, Adam and his assistant, another Adam, came for installation and everything went smoothly. They cleaned up everything, and Adam S. made sure that there are no gas leaks after installation. It was late but he took the time to do a complete job. They were very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend Convertible Heating & Air.

Great work, clean and professional. The only problem is that they installed equipment without asking too many questions so just make sure they don't drill holes in your walls before you talk to them! Other than that perfect!

Good job with furnace replacement, fast and took about 3 hours to complete the job. On time and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend them to family or friends.

I was shopping for a new water heater and was tired of renting,
Then I also decided to purchase a new furnace and have both installed at the same time. made sense to me.
After calling a few different heating companies, I thought why not call Convertible heating, a family business, after all, they had installed my A/C a couple years back,
They gave me a reasonable quote over the phone, then Marni came to my home for the pre inspection, I was very pleased with the whole sales experience, next was the installation, One week later Adam and his assistant arrived, introduced themselves, they installed the furnace and water heater, very clean and professional installation, I am so happy to have called Convertible Heating. I have nothing but praise for the family run business at Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning. From Chris in Sales right down to Brandon and Josh installing, everyone did a wonderful job. I appreciate them giving me a fair quote on the first visit and the workmanship that followed was second to none (both units were installed in under 6 hours). I won't hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others (which I have already done). Thank you for giving us heat again!

Extremely satisfied, the installation team, Adam & Adam (the A Team?) were very professional, considerate and polite. The installation went well and was completed in a timely manner. They removed all garbage and did an excellent clean up job, most appreciated. I would gladly recommend Convertible Air to others. Well done guys.

This was a very good experience in general. Good equipment nice people to deal with.
Pros:
1. Friendly people, Quick response.
2. Installation team was friendly, very clean, did a good job.
3. Equipment was no lesser quality than other much more expensive competitors.
4. They were very considerate that I had no heat and installed my furnace two days after purchase.
5. The Amana variable speed/two stage furnace is very good quality.
cons:
1. After installation they did not pick furnace pallet and packaging.
2. Installation team made a technical mistake. They wired a single stage thermostat as a two stage. Furnace remained at first stage and never went to second stage.
They responded quickly to my request and got a technician that fixed this mistake.
3. On both cases Technicians in my opinion did not stay long enough to show us how furnace worked and switches between stages.
I have electrical engineering background and am used to installing electrical systems, so my expectations are different than most people.
But I still think this is a good company. I would recommend them and deal with them again.

I was very pleased with the installation of my new American Standard furnace last week. Marnie came to my home to explain the options and provide advice on the best furnace. Adam and Adam came to install the furnace on the agreed time and day. I was going from a mid-efficiency to a high efficiency furnace. I was very concerned about the potential damage to my finished ceiling to install the new vent pipes. My furnace room is in a very unfortunate part of the basement. However, the Adams were very careful when removing the old ceiling tiles and were able to reinstall them. Once I do some minor paint touch-up along the edges, it will not be noticeable. The installers needed to return another day to complete a few things, but the furnace was operational before they left the first day. Everyone was very patient with my many questions and concerns. The work is now complete and the furnace is working great so far.
