JTL and Son

Jim and his crew came highly recommended to replace the knob and tube wiring in our 1920's home. What was mentioned particularly was their ability to conduct the work and make minimal holes while doing so, this proved to be absolute fact. I have since pulled down some drywall & plaster for renovation and am amazed at what they managed to route with such little damage. Another electrician wanted us to pull up all the first floor boards to conduct the work and then let us down when trying to finalize a schedule, which was absolutely critical for us since we needed the work done in a small window of time before we moved in. Jim understood this and promised to meet schedule, JTL came good on their promise, hit our schedule and left everything clean and tidy. They also installed a bathroom vent up complete, up through the roof for us on one of the most uncomfortably hot days of the summer plus accommodated some last minute alterations at no cost. All in all a friendly, knowledgeable, well mannered team that I would highly recommend and use again.

Jim came in advance and he properly evaluated the job; he did all the necessary measurements about everything; then, the whole team of 4 came for two days and they did the job properly.

We had them fix an emergency issue with our fuse box which we later on replaced with a circuit breaker electrical panel. They were very fast and professional. Would definitely go to them again for our electrical needs.

JTL & Son upgraded our electrical panel from 100 amps to 200 amps in November 2021.
Our home was built in the 1970's and has aluminum wiring.

We got 3 quotes for the job, and chose JTL because they are local, they have decades of experience, they are very knowledgeable about aluminum wiring issues, and their price was fair (in the middle of the 3 quotes).

On the day of the job, the 2-man crew arrived on time, did a professional job, and left the site clean. They did a bit of patching work outside, and it was also well done.

The final amount charged was the same as the estimate. JTL sent us an invoice and ESA Certificate of Acceptance by email after the job was completed.

We were happy with the work done, and we would recommend JTL & Son.
