Rob and his Daystar team installed solar panels on our roof in 2007 and we have been customers since then. The service and product has been excellent. The solar panels have been very durable, low maintenance and cost effective. I would highly recommend using Daystar if you are looking for a way to reduce pool heating cost.

I had the solar pool heater system installed in 2004, with no issues at all except for a broken pipe needed replacement when something feel on it and it cracked needing repair. I needed to have my roof re-shingled so I called Daystar to remove the solar panels and then re-stall them afterward. They removed the panels within an hour and re-installed them along with replacing pipes within a couple of hours. I feel that the system will now last me another 17 or more years before any more work will be needed. There service was very prompt, they were very courteous and very tidy.

Approximately 15 years ago we had solar panels installed to heat our swimming pool. Honestly we think we had pay back within 2 years, but we know that for many years we have had "free" heat to give us pool water around 89 degrees most of the time for the summer months.
DayStar were great at installing and helpful in helping us make decisions. On the odd year when we have needed service since installation, they have been really responsive.
I have no hesitation in recommending solar panels, or DayStar as the company to provide and install them

After a particular cold spring and fall, we decided to add solar heat to our pool and we couldn’t have picked a better company than Daystar. They were courteous, prompt and an all round professional company to deal with. The following year we couldn’t believe how long the panels extended our pool season...probably up to 3 weeks on either end of the summer. I believe that we’ve had the system in for over 10 years now & the panels have lasted the test of time! When we had our roof redone last year, we called Daystar to remove the system and put it back up after the roof was done. Again, not only were they reliable but they worked around the roofer’s schedule so we were only without solar heat for 2-3 days. They also took the time to examine the system for any damages caused by the environment and fortunately found no issues. We highly recommend Daystar!

We would recommend using any other supplier than daystar. After the job was done we by accident found out through another contractor several things they did incorrectly such as leaving holes in the roof where they had drilled and not sealed . We called to complain about this in order to have it fixed and we were met by a barrage of profanity that we cannot repeat here. If that is their method of conducting customer service they won t be around much longer. Strongly suggest using other companies there are several on line .

2013 had Daystar come and put in solar heating for my pool in Scarborough. Came within a few days on my time and day. Great price great service by Rob explained everything . Recommend to everyone because they will have no regrets .
