Wizard Screens

We have had an amazing experience working with Brenda and Cyril in the Calgary office. They have been extremely professional and helpful! We are so pleased with our decision to go with Wizard retractable screens instead of Phantom. We purchased a security screen as well and love that we can leave our door opened with the peace of mind that the door is secure and locked. We were in a hurry to get ventilation through our house without having to have air conditioning and these screens are fantastic. Thank you so much Brenda and Cyril for your help. We have an architectural home with an oversized aluminum and glass sliding patio door, and really wanted a mesh screen that would keep bugs out and pets in while at the same time, not disrupting the look of the door. Wizard created a retractable screen that blends in perfectly with the aluminum of the door - we were really pleased. Despite being an oversized door, the screen was ready within two weeks, and their installer, Tony, was great - friendly, on time, and cleaned up the (minimal) mess left by the install.

Awesome products and fantastic professional installation service. We had one large patio screen installed and two smaller windows with double wicket openings. As we have two cats, we opted for the heavy duty pet mesh for all screens. A little extra, but well worth the cost. Sure, I could have gone to our local renovation centres for some of those DIY versions and we also looked at around at some other local companies who were cheaper. Their materials seemed more flimsy and also the customer service wasn't that great (3 weeks waiting for a response to emails was just a little unacceptable).

Anyhow, we opted to spend a little more and after reading the great reviews for Wizard Industries on Homestars.com, we opted to give them a try. Justin, the installer, came and did the measurements. Very professional. We were given a quote of about $350 for all three windows/Patio door with Pet Mesh. Sure a little more than anticipated, but I'm a firm believer of you get what you pay for. If you want a quality product, you kinda have to pay a little more for it. We were originally told that it was going to be up to 3 weeks for fabrication to delivery/installation, It turned out to only be two weeks. Justin came back, right on time and had the screens installed in about 30 minutes.

Our condo feels so cool now. We didn't have the screens last summer and instead opted for a large A/C unit and kept the windows closed. Our electric bill was INSANE. We're looking forward to summer this year of just keeping all the windows open now to get the nice cross breeze and only use the A/C for the couple of days to a week in the middle of peak summer season where even the outside air is unbearable. The amount we'll save in our power bill this year will more than pay for these great new screens. What can I say, we're extremely pleased with our new screens. Would we recommend Wizard to our friends? Heck, YES! Quality products (again, you get what you pay for), great and professional customer service and delivery quicker than expected. We couldn't ask for anything more.

I have been wanting to buy a canopy to go over my door for years now. I hadn't gotten the project finished because I didn't like the fabric awnings that my neighbor has. Then I found a website called www.poly-awns.com. I called Wizard and they had just what I was looking for. A modern, sleek, transparent poly-awn that goes over my door. I love it. My door is protected. I can stay dry under it while I'm getting my keys or going outside to greet someone when its raining. The price was great and they offered to do the installation. Great job!

We had a security storm door installed. Fast, efficient service. We were a little skeptical when only one person showed up to do the job, but he was great.. Very professional. The product gave us peace of mind. We received lots of compliments from family and friends.

Hired to install a retractable screen door for our main entrance door. It faces onto an outdoor walkway in the condo, which allows to let some light and air. We choose the pet mesh (which is bit thicker so your dog won't run into it and rip it out). Installer I believe is an independent contractor. Installation was done on a schedule, satisfied with results.

I was very excited to learn about this security screen door. We wanted to be able to leave our kitchen door open in the summer, but our cat is an indoor cat and the last screen door we had she ran right through the screen and escaped! This door is supposed to be able to withstand a knife blade and other security attacks so will hopefully be able to withstand our 9lb cat escape attempts! Anyway, the installer called and made an appointment for a date that worked for us. I asked him to call prior to arrival, which he did. He installed it without any issue and we are so far very pleased with the door. It even has a special locking mechanism that allows you to leave the door open and be secure as it cannot even be pried open as it locks all up the frame in multiple spots. We are looking forward to a cooler summer and are happy with the general simple look of the frame of the door, and are pleased with the installation. The only thing that would have been nice is a choice of hardware. The hardware that is standard is black, including the hinges, which are visible, and we don't have any black hardware on our house. The door handle is not that attractive. Perhaps they will offer hardware options in the future.

Jason installed our security screens on all our doors and windows. Custom made screens that keep bugs and burglars out. They look like beautiful normal screens but are far from normal. Amazing product. Professional and friendly service. More than happy with the product & the service Jason provided. He definitely went above and beyond. We now feel safe without having ugly bars on our home. Thank you Jason!!!!

We needed to get a screen door installed and also two window screens. Wizard was quick to get a reasonable quote for us and installed them a few days later! It was great in the summer to have screens in and we for sure use them again!

The product and service from wizard was great. They were very professional and exceeded my expectations. Very responsive to my requests and did everything they said they would do in the timeframe we aggreed upon. I look forward to working with them on all my future projects.
