Price was higher than other window replacement suppliers but we were impressed with the design especially the spring loaded screens that can be retracted when not needed. Installation was fast and good. A very minor issue was rectified quickly by Hansen their engaging travelling repairman.
We had all the windows in our house replaced by Magic Windows. We almost went with Brock windows but decided on Magic Windows because of the innovative design of their windows. These are fantastic windows. They are worth the bit of extra money they cost. The window frames are nice and slim, they open beautifully without a crank, the retractable screens are so convenient and the retractable sun blinds are amazing. Mike did a fantastic job installing the windows. The only glitch we had was prior to installation there was a bit of a mixup regarding the size of the window jam and there was a week delay that inconvenienced our stucco installer. But it did get resolved. We are rating the windows and the installation of the windows a perfect 10. We could not be happier with the windows.
We had Magic Windows put into our home a couple months back and couldn't be happier. The sales rep was so knowledgeable and helpful! He answered all of our questions and concerns, and monitored the project during the installation! We had a number of different reputable companies come out to quote us, including Pella, but none of them offered the features that Magic Windows had.
The installation crew was great, everything went in on time, and the windows are beautiful. Mike - the installer, really took his time to perfect every opening- and we have some really big windows but everything works perfectly.
Would definitely Recommend these guys in a second!
Magic windows did not disappoint! Great looking windows with great features such as privacy blinds, sunshades and bug screens. Great design and works really well. The installation was done really well especially for the windows in the basement. We have an old home and so it was critical that the installation was done well.
The sales rep came and quoted the job which was totally accurate. The installation was quick but the job wasn't done completely by the contractors they hired. When I called, they very quickly came out and finished the job beautifully.
the worker were great. they clean the mess up toke away the old one window. They sit down with me and told me how to take of my new window. how to maintan them.
This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with a company. The salesman was nice but he promised us something that could not be done. We were told that the windows would take 6-8 weeks and finally after calling them numerous times they were to be installed after 12 weeks. The came and took out the large window and as they were bringing the new one up I noticed that the grill work on the window was done wrong. I called the sales manager who told me to send the window back. I informed him that there was a large hole in my house and it was 3 days before Chistmas. He said to put the window in and they would fix the grill work later. Once the window was installed I noticed that the grill work that was put on the window was not level and was curved. I even took a level to it and it was completely installed improperly. Once again I called the sales manager who promptly informed me that I was wrong and that they were straight. I had to numerous times tell him that I was standing with a level to the grill work. The call had to be escalated to someone else who said they would send a technician out to look at the window. The person came the next week and within seconds confirmed that the grill work was indeed curved and would need to be replaced. He stated that it would take approximately 2 week. After waiting almost 2 months we were finally informed that it was to be installed. I once again (stupidly) called the sales manager to politely ask for a small discount on the window (10%) because of the massive time delay for the job to be completed. He practically told me that I should be ashamed for asking for a discount and that I should be happy that I had only paid a down payment. He is by far the worst sales person I have ever dealt with. Arrogant, rude and does not listen to his customers. I asked for the call to be escalated to someone else in the company and he downright refused, saying that he owned the company. I would highly recommend going with a more reputable company and staying away from this one. Horrible experience. The windows are nice but the time delay and the experience with the sales manager is the reason I gave this such a bad rating.
When we decided we needed new windows- we went searching rather blindly. We didn't really know what we wanted or what we needed- except that we wanted something that was energy efficient. It took us a while to do our research, but we took the time to do it thoroughly. We had over 7 quotes including Marvin and Pella. We didn't rush into a decision because of the expense. But after a couple of weeks, it was a no-brainer. No one else came close to the features these guys have. The retractable screens and slim frame give our home more light than we ever thought possible. And the energy blinds give us the energy savings we knew we wanted from the start. We're so happy with everything. The entire process was smooth and easy, the project manager was really informative, he knew his stuff, and really took the time to make sure we understood everything and that made a really big difference to us. Our home and windows looks great but most importantly its a lot more comfortable. Opening our windows is quick and easy and we can easily transform the ambiance of our home based on the weather outside.
We had some of the usual suspects come out to bid on updating windows in our house as well as add a set of garden doors to the back of our house. We spoke with Pella, Anderson, as well as Home Depot and Magic Window. We were impressed with the Magic Window product from the get-go. The technology they leverage within their product is simply superior to the standard window technology. Too much to mention here in that regard, but a nice, easy example is the crank that standard windows use to open the window. The Magic Window does not use a crank, so you do not have to deal with the eventual deterioration of that mechanism. With Magic Window, you simply push the window open and pull it closed. Very simple, very robust. The hideaway screens and blinds are also a blessing in keeping the look very clean and promoting as much light coming into the house as possible.
Over the course of two years, we have had all (except two bay) windows in our house as well as a set of garden doors updated by Magic Window. We are very pleased with the product, and have had no issues whatsoever. They have added light, functionality, and have greatly enhanced the look of the house - inside and out. We also have a lot of oak throughout our house, and while the company does not offer wood windows or doors, they do offer a synthetic with an oak-like finish. I was very skeptical of having this synthetic finish in my home, especially next to the real thing. But, once I saw the real life samples, I was very pleased. The finish is much more pleasing than you'd expect, and blends with my wood very well. Plus, the benefits of synthetic over wood for window/door longevity can't be argued.
The only challenge I've had with this company is that depending on the sales person you work with, they can be a little bit disorganized. However, it is very much worth the time taken to get to know them and work with them on a plan that works for your home. Without hesitation, I am happy to recommend this company's great product.
