We have just had four windows replaced by Galaxy WD and we are very satisfied with the whole experience. Dimtri sold us on a very nice product by Hometech, at an excellent price. Also, in our opinion the installation is as important as the quality of the window itself, and Vladimir and Alex, the installation crew, did not disappoint. We feel that Galaxy WD was a good choice for our window replacement project and we would definitely consider hiring them again in the future.

I contacted galaxy windows based on the reviews I’ve read…. and I have to say I interviewed many places before deciding on Galaxy Windows. It was quite the process, but nevertheless, I chose the best contractor out of the bunch. Some quotes received were way out of my budget, and some were about the same price or even less, but for lesser quality windows and/or lesser quality workmanship. I knew that Galaxy was the right contractor for my needs because Dmitri (business partner) was very professional and very well spoken. He took his time to go through the estimate, explained in detail about the quality of his windows, and he was very knowledgeable about the installation process.

From start to finish it was the best job I’ve seen for windows replacement. We went with the brick to brick method (best method), where it was a clean gut out of the existing windows and installation. All the windows were custom measured and installed to perfection. Vlad and his crew did an excellent job with the installation and the clean up. In total we had 7 windows, 3 basement windows, front door, and patio door changed. We had 3 rusting steel framed windows and Galaxy handled the situation without any problems. The basement windows look like they were installed by the builder!!! “Piece of art” we called it. Also, we love our new door!!! It adds much needed curb appeal to the house, and the windows have definitely kept the house cooler during the summer weather. Way to go Galaxy!!! After moving into an older home and suffering through a winter with its flimsy windows, we asked Dmitri to estimate and help us decide on replacing at least one floor's worth of windows in addition to replacing two wooden doors. Dmitri helped us budget with their competitive rates. Their installers were prompt and worked hard to finish quite the task within one day without skimping on any details. A different contractor even mentioned that they didn't cheap out with their exterior sealant for the window frames (which he said some companies often do). Near one door frame that was being replaced, they uncovered a masonry issue and were unable to completely seal the unit. Rather that patch over a deficiency of the house, they informed me of the issue. They came back promptly after my mason came and resolved the problem and finished sealing the door frame without any additional charge. Galaxy Windows and their team put effort and pride into their work. In addition we have noticed an marked improvement in heat retention and really are thankful during the recent ice storm that the windows and doors were so well-installed and insulated.

We are thrilled with our windows! Fabulous service at a great price! I was so happy with the punctuality, neatness, precision of the installation, courteous manners and attention to detail above and beyond what you normally would expect. These windows look so good!
I have even had people stop on the street to compliment the windows. We are just so pleased with the company and their high quality product!

I contracted Galaxy after much research, including reviewing Homestars.com. Dmitri was very helpful throughout the process, including helping in the selection of the windows. Throughout the project Dmitri was very involved and always responsive. The crew was punctual, and very courteous throughout the project. We contracted Galaxy Windows services this fall, as we were looking to change all the windows in our house. Dmitri was very punctual and offered us a very good deal, which included a bay window in our living room! A couple of months later we are still very happy with our windows, the bay window changed our living room entirely and we are very satisfied with our choice in terms of the company.

After much research on window quality and in particular glass sealing we chose Galaxy Windows who install Hometech with Cardinal sealed panes. To get a better understanding of the window construction we visited the showroom and factory where could see construction details. We were very satisfied with the quality of the product and service provided. It took less than four weeks from ordering the windows to installation which was very neat with great attention to detail. It is our intention to use Galaxy to replace the remainder of our windows.
