We bought an old house and discovered when we moved in during February that some of the water pipes were frozen in the basement crawl space. The guys from Harris plumbing were awesome. The space was so small that they actually had to excavate a little dirt to get the job done. It took them far longer than anticipated, but they only charged us a bit extra for the extra time and terrible conditions. I heartily recommend them. We're using them for another job at the moment and find that they're courteous, extremely helpful, and honest. Both times they gave us recommendations about what needed to be done and what wasn't really necessary, and saved us a lot of money that way.

I was very impressed with Harris Plumbing. From the first phone call, where I spoke to Amber to book the appointment, the team at Harris was friendly, professional and helpful. She let me know when Ryan would be there and how much the service call would cost (because it was a Saturday evening)
Ryan arrived on time. He was friendly, courteous and professional. He talked me through each of the jobs and what they would require. He even took a few minutes to show me the shut off valves for each of my outside garden hoses (one of which was hidden behind a vent by the previous home owners).
I was very pleased with Harris Plumbing and will absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

I am extremely disappointed with Harris Plumbing. A few months ago we ended up paying $500 to have our kitchen sink re-plumbed. Although I was quoted the total cost in advance I wasn't provided a breakdown and learned afterwards I paid $120 for 2 simple kitchen supply pipes! We couldn't afford any other needed plumbing jobs based on their prices. We eventually found a great plumber who charged us a fraction of Harris, did a fantastic job, fixed an item Harris told us would need replacement, and pointed out the numerous faults in the plumbing job Harris did complete. We will never recommend or use Harris Plumbing and feel we paid far too much for sub-par work.

Earlier this summer, we had the water heater fail. It blew a circuit breaker and we lost heated water. Harris Plumbing, who we had used earlier to install a filtration system including a UV element, were quick to respond to our request for help, and came to the cottage prepared to either replace what turned out to be a burned out electrical element , or to replace the water heater entirely. After discussion and determining the fact that this heater is at least 10 years old, and perhaps even older, we decided to simply replace the heater with a new one. In fact as there is only two of us most of the time, we decided to down size the unit for energy cost reasons.

Adam from Harris Plumbing arrived on time, and with the required equipment in his truck. No delays. While doing this work, he offered some comments on our current plumbing setup, which system is anything but professional, and further offered several suggestions that we elected to have him implement in order to make the system more efficient and easier to winterize.

This job came in on time, on price and very capably done. This was our second experience with “HPN” and we will certainly turn to them in the future.

Scott from Harris Plumbing just left having repaired a number of oddball plumbing issues as well as fixing my leaky pipe in the wall and replacing my leaky old kitchen faucet. I called them because of a good review on the Better Business website and it was all true. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and skilled - he repaired and tested his work before leaving. Even the guy from the city water department who came to repair my main house shut off told me I had a good plumber saying that some plumbers would offer to repair this shut off and charge a lot for it.
I would gladly recommend and will call again when I need a plumber.

Thought I could give my delta monitor shower faucet a chrome trim facelift. Bought a trim kit and I had a new Delta catridge RP19804. Could not get the half of the old one out. really stuck inside the shower rough. It had broken apart, but the other half of it was still wedged into the shower valve really, really tightly. It was leaking a lot when I turned the water in the house back on, and that is when I realized that I had an emergency situation. Called on Aug 4, 2014 (civic holiday) at 4 PM and he came at 5:30 PM to our house even though he had been busy the whole day on another job. I had worked the final half of the old catridge out (after he advised me to try), but still was unclear how to get the new one in there and how to get the shower faucet reassembled properly. Somehow DIY videos on You Tube were much easier than the reality of the situation with the corroded remnants of the old cartridge clogging up the shower valve and refusing to come out. I did not need a whole new shower valve job behind the wall as first thought. He calmly reassembled faucet and retested it all for me with no problem and I was very, very grateful. Very personable and friendly service who came to help out our family at our house. Thank you very much!

In the spring, when water start up at the cottage became a problem, Harris Plumbing and their friendly trained professionals came to the rescue to solve the problem. Their follow up service was fast and reliable and proves they stand behind their work. Well done Harris Plumbing

I have been using Harris Plumbing for a number of years at our Muskoka cottage. The Harris team provides excellent service. They do what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, for the price they said. It’s nice to have a team you can count on.

Harris Plumbing stands by their work! I had a water pump and holding tank issue. Harris repaired it but we had the same issue recurring less than a year and half later. Harris remedied the problem and discounted the entire amount of the invoice for the original work from the repair. It is nice to know in this day and age that when someone guarantees their work on their website that they actually do!

I was extremely impressed with the service provided by Harris Plumbing. The gentleman who came to my house was professional, courteous and very helpful. Their office had been without power for most of the day on the Saturday, but they were still able to assist us and other customers. My situation was not a normal plumbing problem. We had lost a pet ferret in the sump pump weeping pipe. He had been missing for quite some time, but we could only guess that he had gone into the pipe. The drain camera scope that was carried out allowed us to know for sure that our pet was where we thought he was and best of all that he was still alive. Without that, we would never have known for sure and possibly the outcome may not have been positive. I am happy to say it turned out well and I thank Harris Plumbing for the huge part they played in that outcome. Harris Plumbing went the extra mile and then some to help us out in a very unusual and stressful situation. They care about their customers and it shows. I would recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services.
