Harris Plumbing

We had a pipe break in our basement following a cold snap. Harris Plumbing was will to send someone right away. One of their plumbers called us within 20 min. It was a statutory holiday and it was going to cost more to have them come that day. He recommended that we shut off the water just to that line and turn our water back on and he would come the next day. This worked very well. When our plumber arrived he was exceptionally friendly and professional. So far so good. Pipe looks great.

My kitchen sink began to leak without my knowing and before long we had quite a mess under there. My husband took a crack at fixing the problem but was unsuccessful.
I called Harris Plumbing and right away I was made to feel as though I was being taken care of. The receptionist was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and I had an appointment the next day. She even told me who would be coming to the house! Adam showed up on time with a van full of parts and fixed the problem right away. What a delightful young man! I would certainly use Harris plumbing again!

I called Harris Plumbing when I realized that my main shut off valve no longer fully turned the water off in my house. I contacted them via email and received a prompt response and a phone call. The customer service rep, Kathryn, was great. She was able to schedule me in on a day that was most convenient for me and was able to answer any question I had.

As for the day of, we had Mike F come to do the work. He was on time and did a great job fixing the main valve shut off, for a reasonable price. While we were waiting for the Town to come and turn the water back on to the house, I had Mike quote some additional work on a bathroom that we are DIY renovating. Mike did an amazing job updating the plumbing in the shower, raising the shower head and installing a new mixing valve. After the work was done, I received a follow-up call from the customer service team checking in to see if the work was done up to my expectations.

Overall, it was a great experience. You may pay a bit more with Harris Plumbing, but its worth it for the level of customer service provided. I'll definitely be using them again when I start my next project.

My grey water backed up in the middle of the night flooding my floors. Half asleep and in full panic mode I went old school and grabbed the yellow pages. The only service that had a live person to receive my call was Harris plumbing. The service guy on call talked me through how to get the water to stop flowing for the night saving my lots of $$ by letting me wait until morning to get this fixed. The next day they had a plumber there to fix my issue and gave me some great information on how to maintain my system to avoid issues in the future. This was my first plumbing issue and I consider myself lucky to have found Harris. I have a plumber for life now.

We had a broken trap primer (plastic pipe running between floors). They are a bit more expensive than the cheaper AAA+++ Plumbers but you can sleep well knowing they do a good job, they clean and tidy up behind them, and they're reasonable and knowledgeable.

Very expensive! Would not use this company again. $116 for shut off valve, $56 for the braided supply line to said valve, plus, plus, total cost $350.00! No problem with the plumber sent, just TOOO expensive for the simple work done, parts cost outrageous.

UPDATE: STILL have the slow leak, after spending $350 (yes, tax in). Will be phoning tomorrow and see what they will do to remedy! No different than it was before!

With most plumbers in town not available during the Christmas-New Years break, we were delighted to find Harris Plumbing ready, willing and able to help! Neil arrived when promised and quickly confirmed that our existing septic pump had failed. He replaced with a new pump and tested everything thoroughly. Our large family is very happy to be able to use the washrooms, kitchen and laundry in our cottage once again. Definitely will call this company the next time I need a professional, reliable and friendly plumber. The Customer Service staff who I spoke to when scheduling were extremely friendly and caring as well. Definitely a five-star operation!

We placed a call due to a leak under the bathroom sink. We were fit in the next day. Technician Mike P discovered the cause and explained all costs involved.
Work was completed in a timely fashion. Mike also explained the pricing system Harris Plumbing uses and made recommendations on future maintenance.
