Replaced our old front entry door and rear garden door. The sales staff were very polite and friendly and the quote was very competitive. The installers came as scheduled and in fact were a bit early. Work was done in a timely manner and they were very professional and courteous. They kept the entire work area safe and clean as the work was done and once complete the areas were completely cleaned inside and out. It was a very good experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend their services.

I initially dreaded looking for a company to install new doors. When Rick came to inspect and quote, it felt right. We are very happy with the professionalism of everyone we had contact with. I have high standards for product and service and Old West Windows & Door met my standards, which doesn't happen much anymore. Job very well done guys and gals! If the need arises again, we will be calling you.

Everyone we dealt with at Old West were professional & courteous. Rick was on-time for initial & subsequent appointments, explained all options & considerations, then followed up with a timely quote. The installers (Jeremy & his co-worker) were friendly, professional and on-time. Respectful of our house, they immediately installed tarps & covers where required to minimize dust & debris. When encountering an electrical line (once the wall was opened up), they were quick to get an electrician on site to fix the problem in a timely manner. The work was completed on time and the quality and fit & finish was 10 out of 10.

Through my extensive research into windows companies in Calgary (I checked approximately 15), only a handful was worth asking for a quote, and from the quality of workmanship, service, price, warranty and customer care, Old West Windows & Doors beats its competition hands down!

We were very happy with the quality of work from Old West. The crew was professional and worked very quickly. The windows and doors are a great quality and were installed correctly and professionally.

The only complaints were that the front door was ordered incorrectly, so we had a longer wait time and two install days instead of one. We also found that we were the ones who had to contact the company to check on the status of our doors and windows once they had been ordered.

Their quote was competitive, but what made us go with them were the high positive rating they had on Homestars and the excellent quotation interview my wife had with the owner, Rick Whatley. She was very impressed with his manner and style. He came across to her as very credible and responsible. His crew were gentlemen, polite and tidy, and they did a first class installation. There were a few relatively small items that required follow-up, and they were attended to in a timely fashion. Rick and his staff were very responsive to all of our inquiries.

Old West was great from start to finish. Right from when Rick first came to our house to do the quote, through installation and payment, the service was exceptional at every stage. We had two poorly done bay window assemblies totally redone by Old West and the new windows look great! They also did new doors and two other sets of windows. I would highly recommend Old West to anyone in Calgary in the market for new windows or doors!

We once again called up Rick from Old West to help us with an old, in need of replacement window....this time the basement. We needed it expanded for more accessibility and use. And again, they came through, not only with a quality window, but the work done to dig the well, and cut the cement was done with care. Cleaned everything up. Shauna in the office is awesome to deal with as well. All in all - if you are looking for new windows, give them a call.
