House facade stone tuckpointing

The team at Red Robin were great to deal with. From the estimate to the scheduling and the work itself, they were professional, courteous and took great care in the project. Communication has prompt and clear and we couldn't be happier with the end result.

Parging exterior walls

I needed the parging of my kitchen extension redone after it suffered damage during last year's heavy winter -- the original parging job wasn't that well done to begin it. I picked Red Robin Masonry based on their Homestars reviews. Couldn't be happier. They were fast and friendly, knowledgeable, they always kept me in the loop as to what was happening (which is great for a layman like myself), and did an excellent job while staying within (a very acceptable) budget. They also managed to squeeze me in at short notice -- very much appreciated as I was on a bit of a deadline, wanting to put my house up for sale. Great company to work with -- I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Tear-down and Rebuild of Porch and Steps

My wife and I are ecstatic about the finished job for our front porch and steps. The final product was better than we had envisioned.

We had Red Robin Masonry remove old tiles on our porch and steps, and remove the brick wall that surrounded the porch and steps. They then installed one piece sandstone steps, and random size sandstone tiles on the porch. In addition, they conducted brick replacement, tuck pointing, and parging in other parts of our house.

The actual work was performed by Fiaz and Cody. Over five days they took care to allow me input at critical junctures. They arrived early each morning, and stayed late enough to keep the project on time.

There were frequent deliveries of supplies, and equally frequent pick-up of waste material that kept our site clean.

I took get care to visit several Red Robin work sites, and the experience ultimately provided me with the material and design elements that were excellently incorporated into our job.

Old veranda revitalized, etc.

Our over 55 year old bungalow with concrete veranda over a cold cellar needed pointing badly. I met with John over a year ago and was impressed with his knowledge and not pushy at all. Just this month Ray and Shaun worked steadfastly over 3 days to re point it, caulk and then helpfully went over the rest of the brick around the house to point where needed. The fellows were so pleasant to work with, the job was done neatly (grass area where they mixed mortar was covered up) and the supervisor, Dave also came to see the job. We have had pointing done over the years but nothing like the evenness/neatness of this. Ray even came up with his own idea of where the water might be coming in so extra work was done on the arm of the veranda and yet you'd never know it. Ray also did a lovely job of parging down the side of our home where we'd had waterproofing work done. I was also pleased that the office would contact me if the work was to be delayed and if I emailed them they responded quickly. I'd definitely recommend Red Robin.

Chimney tuck point and some brick work

Red Robin came highly recommended on Homestars. We hired them to tuck point our chimney and do some brickwork on our house. Unfortunately, we did not have the same high quality experience that many others have had. The pictures attached tell the whole story. The chimney was only partially done. Several spots in need of attention were not touched. And even some of the new mortar had holes in it.

To their credit, Red Robin sent a team back to re-do the work and it is now done properly. However the fact that it wasn't done correctly the first time disappointed my wife and I.

Outside wall pointing and repair

Good guys. They quoted on the job and also spent some time discussing it with me prior to doing it. Spent some extra time to ensure it was done right and cleaned up very well afterwards. Seemed genuinely interested in doing it right. Highly recommended!

Chimney Repair

Very professional people and quick in responding to email and phone calls. I got a cheaper quote from a 2nd company but my parents and I thought Red Robin should be more reliable and glad we made the right choice! My mother is so happy with the work done, she has been running around the neighborhood recommending Red Robin. I am just shaking my heads and talk to myself: "How hard is it to look up a contractor on Homestars?!?"

brick repair

One of Red Robin's masonry teams removed exterior bricks that had shattered during this brutal winter and replaced them with perfectly matched bricks. The team showed up on time, performed the work with expertise and cleaned up the work site once they were finished.

We have used Red Robin on several occasions now, and highly recommend them. The performance from the initial contact, quoting, organizing and completing the project, and finally follow-up to gauge customer satisfaction is excellent.

Chimney completely remade

Our chimney was falling apart and needed to be demolished and remade. I dealt with 3 companies and Red Robin was first to provide a quote. The quote was the most detailed and professional. They really explained what they would be doing and the price was very competitive.

For the job itself, I would give them an A+. They had exceptional communication skills, know-how and expertise. They let me know when they would come to do the work, contacted us for follow up, and came back to make sure that we were fully satisfied (making multiple visits even after we had paid!).

If I ever need masonry work I will be going with Red Robin.

Thanks John and Dave!

Chimney rebuild, brick repair and parging.

I waited a couple years to see how the work lasted through our winters. In the fall 2 years ago I called a couple of companies from Homestars, this was the best. Dave saw the job and suggested waiting for the next spring to do the work and save some money. Dave and the team showed up on time in the spring, did an excellent job in 2 days, and cleaned up very well. He called after to see if we (my wife) was happy, and we were. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
