Swat Wildlife and Insulation

I called Swat Wildlife because I thought I had squirrels in the attic, having noticed damage to the roof.
The team (Jonny and Kevin) arrived on time and were polite, professional and knowledgeable.
After inspecting the damage, and going into the attic to check further, they explained that, while I did have mice in the attic, there were no signs of squirrels.
The damage had been done by a raccoon, which apparently planned on spending the winter up there!
There were several signs of raccoons on the roof.
They put bait in the attic to get rid of the mice, then repaired the roof, and protected it from further damage.
They also put wire cages on three roof vents to avoid damage in those areas.
I feel very confident, after seeing what they did, that I could recommend them to anyone - going up in my attic is no fun!

I had a squirrel problem in my attic. Another company "that shall remain unnamed" came in and told me I actually had a RAT problem and the rats were eating squirrels in my attic.
Scared the he** out of my wife and traumatized us, then gave us an estimate of $10k.
I decided to shop around and read that SWAT was honest AND THEY WERE.
Jonny and Eden came to our house within 2 hours of my call. Did a full walk around and assessment and took pictures and explained exactly what the problem was. They fixed my problem and cleaned up the mess in the attic and installed one-way doors and sealed all the problem areas.
They were done in an hour and charged me a very very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company and its honest way of doing business.

I have had numerous instances of red squirrels over the years & SWAT has always been responsive & professional. The employees have been knowledgeable & provided recommendations for prevention.

Had a skunk under our foundation-less mudroom. After a weeks-long attempt to close off the entry hole on my own (the skunk kept digging deeper and more circuitous paths), I called in the pros. Derrick was great, and installed a serious wire barrier and one way door. Determined mother skunk kept getting around it, and after a few more days of assessment, we decided to let her raise her babies a bit longer until they could leave for good on their own. Derrick's patience and willingness to come back and deal with the situation humanely was appreciated.

Our call was promptly responded to and Derick came when promised. It happened to be pouring rain so I told him that I did not expect him to go ahead and we could reschedule. He reassured me though that they work in all types of whether and continued with the job of discovering we had red squirrel(s). He installed the one way door and covered another entry point. Thankfully we are not hearing anymore visitors in the roof. I hope Derick did not catch a cold. :-)

We were referred to SWAT Wildlife after calling a different company on HomeStars which couldn't service our location. Once I called, Patty answered and was upfront about the cost and initial service fee. They were not able to put us in right away for a visit as they were busy, but came 2 days later. Derek arrived and was very knowledgeable and recommended the one way door at the entry point we knew about with additional screening put along under the eaves troughs and stone where they were entering. Unfortunately this was a problem we bought with this type of stone work on the front as gaps were very apparent allowing entry. So we ended up covering part of the front of the home first, but this failed as a week later, they were still in there, so they came back and we covered all of it. We probably didn't have to, but Johnny/Derek both recommended it. Very expensive, but the workman ship was well done, clean and tidy considering it was the front of the home. We were lucky enough that our stone colour did not make the screening that visible, which was very important to us, otherwise, we would have gone with a much more expensive solution to install facia/underlay under the eaves to block the holes. We also installed screening on the attic vents and an additional 1 way door was put. They came back another week later and removed both one way doors as they were now gone. We were told the screening material used would not rust, just oxidize; we hope this is the case. They also guarantee their work for 1 year. This company is professional and customer service friendly, however I think they do upsell you on potential entry points with the idea that if they have to come again, you will get another initial service charge if you don't cover up the additional areas they recommend on the initial visit.

New home owner in a jungle area for racoons, I wanted to be proactive and sure there was no damage done to the house already and prevent for any to occur.
It was easy to set up a convenient appointment. Jonni and Eden came on time, were very nice, well-mannered, polite and fast to get into work, inspect everything, advise, reassure and offer some prevention options, without pushing at all for me to accept (I did, and they put mesh on different spots on the roofs).
If any problem in the future, I'll for sure call them again!

We contacted Swat when we found out we had a raccoon in our attic. The young lady on the phone was very pleasant plus it was the long weekend and she returned our call right away. The two people who came to our home were Derick and Eden and they were amazing. They were both very professional and pleasant to deal with. We would certainly recommend Swat to anyone that has this same problem.

This is the second time I used SWAT Wildlife. The first time was three years ago to get rid of squirrels living between ny second floor balcony and the roof.
This time it was rats inside the house.
Jonny and Eden were here on time as indicated by the office. I originally thought I had mice but after investigation it turned out to be rats! They screened all the openings they found to prevent access to the house as well as set traps inside the house. We will see in a few weeks how effective this is.

We called SWAT Wildlife because squirrels had burrowed into a space in our roofline. Derick installed a one-way door. He returned 7 days later to complete the job by removing the door and installing flashing over the hole. The job was very nicely done with little fuss.

On his second visit we also had Derick install a wire guard below the second floor porch - racoons had been partying under there a bit too hard and it was time to shut them out. The work was cleanly and efficiently done. On the first night the racoons were visibly angry that their party spot has been locked up, but by the second night the droppings and racoon appearances had been cut down.
