I highly recommend this company! Rob L. provided professional, informative and prompt service.
After phoning other businesses to help me with my malfunctioning furnace and only to be told that they would not be able to help me until the end of the day or the next day (even though I had not had heat for a couple of days), I phoned Reliable Home Comfort for assistance. While they too were busy, they went the extra mile to make the time to have a technician come to the house within a few hours!
Rob who is very personable, arrived in a timely manner and promptly diagnosed and repaired the problem. He also gave me some information about maintaining the furnace as well as the water heater!

My old furnace was simply too small for this house - it was always too cold. A few years ago, Rob and his team recommended and installed a high efficiency Goodman furnace, which has changed my house from chilly to comfortable.

But what has really impressed me is the follow-up from Reliable. There have been a few minor issues - and someone comes out promptly to check things out. A new ComfortNet thermostat was installed quickly, work great (highly recommended, BTW - controls the furnace from your phone.). Really great service, highly recommended.

Our furnace broke down on Christmas day, and i dreaded the cost of an emergency call on a holiday, but after a call to Reliable, a repairman was at our home within an hour and repaired the problem within minutes. In addition, he did additional preventative maintenance all within their warranty. He only charged me for his travel. Really remarkable service.

After several years with another company, I chose Reliable Home Comfort to replace the boiler in my North Toronto home.
I have known Dave Moore for several years and trust him absolutely (which is saying something, because I am usually a very cautious person).
Dave and Darryl made sure the installation went smoothly and the boiler and thermostat are operating perfectly.

Our furnace failed and we required a new one. Reliable Home Comfort installed quickly and well.
2 years later an issue occurred with blocked drainage hose, quick response and took care of issue even though it was not a furnace problem.

Another great service by Reliable Home Comfort. After contacting Rob he dispatched Colin to help us with the installation of a new smart thermostat. We did not have the "c" wire and I didn't feel comfortable with opening the furnace in order to install the included by pass module. Colin was great, courteous and very professional. He was able to complete the job very fast and also helped us with another issue we were having. We would highly recommend them again.

Furnace died. Found Reliable Comfort on Homestars. Called, and Darryl came by same day and diagnosed the problem. The cost for the part did not warrant repair of the 20-yr old furnace so I asked Darryl for a quote. I then proceeded to waste about 8 hours of my time calling around getting other quotes. Reliable had the best price, best warranty and gave me the most confidence out of the 9 other companies I talked to. Before deciding, I must have called Darryl 10 times asking questions. He was always helpful, courteous, and clearly knowledgable. Installation went perfect. Great crew. Don't waste your time like I did - just go with Reliable.

My furnace stopped operating during a recent cold snap, and of all times this had to take place on a weekend. Yikes! I called a couple of places and Reliable was the only vendor to answer my call. Rob, one of the general managers, was honest enough to ask me - over the phone - to perform some trouble shooting steps. No success, so he made his way over later that day to diagnose the issue; he was a man of his word and returned that following Monday to carry out the repair.

I found Rob to be a very honest, soft spoken, and gentle individual. Two great examples that demonstrate how honest of a character Rob is are: I wanted to reimburse Rob after the initial visit but he politely declined and said not to worry since he did not fix anything yet; also, after fixing my furnace, Rob commented that my furnace was working great and that I should keep it as long as I can.

I might also add that they charged me a very, very fair and competitive price to replace the vent motor in my Amana furnace.

Thanks, Rob and staff, you're a great bunch of honest chaps who I will now be calling in the future for all of my HVAC requirements.

Darryl was very quick and informative to resolve the issue with our furnace. He provided me with some simple tips to ensure the condensation drain is kept clear to avoid future sensor faults.
We will be contacting Darryl and Reliable Home Comfort for future PM service and HVAC needs.

Rob, Jaime, Collin and Pierre did a fantastic job. Their service was top notch and equipment was great quality. My house is 120 years old so they took extra care and were able to instal a new furnace and AC with no problem.s They were also able to come up with a simple and easy solution to what could have been a very complex setup. They were very patient and happy to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
