My furnace stopped working, and I suspected it was the attached water pump.

Someone from reliable came and confirmed the furnace was fine. We didn't even need a new pump - he was able to clean out our current pump. Friendly guy, completed the work quickly at a great price. He is also the only furnace repairman I have encountered that didn't try to get us to upgrade to a new furnace. Very happy. Will definitely use them again . . . just hopefully we won't have furnace problems for a long time.

I was away on business during one of the only cold spells in 2016 when my partner discovered no heat one evening. I first blamed her for the lack of heat thinking she touched our extremely old and challenging programmable thermostat (I'm still hearing about this today) but after two days I realized there might be a problem that couldn't wait for me to return to look at. I knew our system was pretty old as it was noted on our home inspection but we hoped we'd get a year or two out of it before having to replace.

The Reliable team comes highly recommended by our real estate agent (who lives down the street) so I called I happened to speak to Daryl. Despite an extremely busy schedule Daryl was able to make it by to inspect within 24 hours. He confirmed our old system was on its final legs and attempted a quick fix to help get us through the cold stretch. The fix worked for a day but ultimately our old system bit the dust. We gave the go ahead and the install team was on site the following day.

Although I did not shop around as we were in need immediately I has since found that the price we paid was a very solid deal. I appreciate a company that does not try to take advantage of someone. Our furnace works great now and although I haven't had an opportunity to run our new AC unit I have no issue recommending these guys.

We had our furnace and hot water system replaced this week after the old furnace stopped working. Everyone at the company was tremendously professional, helpful and not at all pushy with sales. They were able to arrange everything very quickly so that we weren't without heat for too long. The installers were excellent - very professional and left the site in perfect condition. I would not hesitate to call Dave and his crew again when we are ready to replace our air conditioner. I also have no hesitation recommending them to friends and neighbours.

The installers did a good job. The furnace has been working well since it was put in, early January.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that we had an issue with obtaining the warranty and rebate paperwork, but the owner of the company followed up in person as soon as he heard about the issue.
We feel a lot more secure that the work is fully backed by the team at reliable home comfort and any warranty issues will be resolved in the most efficient manner.

Service was quick and he answered all of my questions. Let me know that my induction blower will need replacing soon since the bearings are going. Overall I am happy with the service.

Our excitement of moving into our new home died when we walked into the furnace room and smell the distinct odor of gas. With all the stress of moving day and such, we were really in a pinch. I called Reliable and spoke to Darryl who came right over to run some tests. Once he diagnosed the problem he worked diligently, staying late into the evening and didn't give up until the job was done right and was able to re test the pipes to assure us that the house (and my Family) were safe. Kudos to Darryl and Reliable.

It's the biggest snow storm of the year, and my furnace stopped heating in the middle of the night. All the "24 emergency repair" places I called had either a voice mail reply or an answering service that said they'd send out a page, but I received no call backs.

In the morning, with the temperature at 55 Fahrenheit, I found Reliable Home Comfort. An actual human being who repairs furnaces answered the phone, but told me that due to the numbers of calls he'd been getting that morning, was unlikely to be able to get to my furnace the same day. However, he talked me through a checklist and gave me a number of ways of addressing the furnace problem. One of his suggestions worked, and he saved me the price of a service call.

When it comes time for furnace work to be done, I'm confident this is a place to go for conscientious, honest service!

Had a new furnace and air installed on Feburary 17th 2016. Kudos to Kelly our salesperson for driving here in a snow storm. Friendly, quality service from Mike and Luciano our 2 very professional installers working under less than ideal conditions. Well done!

Furnace at my parent's place died over the weekend. They did some research and got a few contractors to provide quotes on similar 95+% furnaces. Daryl from Reliable was by far the least pushy and helpful of all. He was patient and answered questions, even mine over the phone.

Installation was done the next morning and the quality of work is very good. Service was excellent, and once again Daryl went out of his way to help; even removed the blower motor from the old furnace for me. Hopefully the new furnace will last as long as the old one (25+ years)

One note though... The guys doing the masonry work (drilling pipe holes and fitting new liner) did their work after the furnace and condensate pump were installed and didn't cover anything. When I went to take a look in the furnace room the next day, everything was covered with a pretty thick layer of dust and dirt (including new furnace and pump). I would suggest using drop cloths to keep everything clean next time.
