After a foundation crack was filled, I decided to install an egress window, mainly to allow more light into the basement recreation room.
Due to covid, it took a while for things to get going, but, after getting a call on a Sunday afternoon, the wheels went into motion. Monday morning, a team was there to dig a trench and clear out the space for the window including a sub-contracted company coming in to cut the concrete in order to make room for the new window. On day two, the window was installed and the soil and grass were replaced as well as a steel guard to support the trench. Other than waiting for the window installer to come and fix a gap on the upper exterior of the window, everything appears to be 99% complete.
