Speers Flooring

We invited Vince Ricci of Spears Flooring to quote on removal of existing hardwood in our kitchen,hallway , entrance and powder room. As well as installation of new pre finished hardwood in our living/dining room areas and installation of Unicom Starker tile in the kitchen ,hall entrance and powder room in a pinwheel pattern.
The price was excellent and the workmanship was even better, on time and our home was treated with respect and kept clean.
Thanks to Thomaz and Mario for a great job on our hardwood and to Sigas and Eddie for a supurb tile setting job.

In early August we started a renovationin our Studio/office space in the basement. We called Vince Ricci of Speers Flooring and he co-ordinated this tight schedule into a four day project that included all new hardwood 488sq ft and tile in our laundry room and powder room. It seems like Jammie our tile setter and Thomaz our hardwood installer could not do enough to meet our time demands and all with such professional workmanship.
This is not our first satisfied relationship with speers flooring and if necessary won't be our last.

We have used Speers Flooring services before to install hardwood floor and this time we called them up to replace the tiles with hardwood on the main floor. The service provided was outstanding. Peter gave us a quote before and when we were ready they made the effort to schedule the job at our convenience on a very tight time frame. Derek and Ruben did a really wonderful job, working around all the challenges and fixing ALL the issues with our subfloor. I would recommend Speers Flooring to everybody. Peter, the manager gave us a detailed quote and that was exactly the final price. He stays on top of the project to the end, reaching out and making sure the job being done is what we wanted. Then the installers Derek and his son Ruben are pleasant, quick and efficient. The quality of their job is just excellent! Good Job GUYS!

Derek, Ruben and Nathan installed a bamboo floor in my new home and I couldn't be happier with the result. Derek took the time to find out about future flooring projects I was planning so that the finished results of the entire first floor would be exactly what I wanted. They were pleasant and courteous and extremely patient as I had other trades in the house at the same time they were working on the flooring. Derek also carefully considered the best way to fix an issue with the subfloor so that the finished product would be perfect.

I would highly recommend Derek and his team to anyone considering a hardwood floor installation.

Great service and guidance in respect to products offered.
Will give them a 10/10 if they return to install the baseboard ,1/4 round in kitchen.
Install was a challenge at time for these guys as we were in the humid/hot phase of weather and the central air had been removed for outside construction. Kudos for a job well done under these conditions. Randy came this week and finished off the baseboard,1/4 round.

This was a huge task as I was living in the premises and there was nowhere to move the furniture other than from side to side within the rooms. Tomas's team moved most of the furniture for me and the work was completed in 5 days ... tearing out 60 year old (or more!) hardwood and replacing with new. The team did an excellent job with great attention to cutting around radiators, leveling the floors and even replacing framework with shutters as they had to be raised. Speers Flooring also had my sliding closet doors shortened to accommodate the new flooring at no charge to us.

Outstanding!! From start to finish, this was the best experience. Had originally intended to install hardwood to replace carpeting in the living/dining room and family room but kept putting it off as I dreaded the thought of having to deal with the potential inconvenience and mess. What a surprise - from the in-store selection, through the estimate, delivery and installation – the process was a breeze. Special thank you to Derek (and his sons) for the meticulous and quick installation. At the end of the job, we headed out to the garage to bundle up any garbage and were pleasantly surprised to see that everything had already been picked up and taken away. Thank you to Peter, Vince and the team for a professional and effortless installation. I can hardly wait to tackle the other rooms in my home.

What an AMAZING experience! Speers Flooring Staff made this renovation the best experience ever!! From assistance with choices (there were so many) on what would best suit our family's needs to complete knowledgeable and helpful advice on the entire process of re-doing a main floor of a family home and still be able to live there! . Peter and Vince made us confident that we were choosing the right company to work with from the word GO! Brian and Justin the young men that did the tiling were prompt, fast and efficient! The estimate of 5 days was cut down to 3.5 days....seriously unheard of but true!! Their work is beautiful! Peter followed up with us regularly to ensure we were happy! Manny and his assistant arrived promptly to do the hardwood on the arranged date and they also did a very professional BEAUTIFUL job in less than the estimated time!! Prompt, Efficient, Courteous and Above Average workmanship and Professionalism! You could NOT do better anywhere else!
