These guys do a great job. They leave it for an extra couple weeks after excavation to settle properly. Alot of driveways in our neighbourhood were ripped up and paved in the time ours sat to settle. Once they come to pave, they take their time to make sure all is done properly. There is a noticeable difference between our finished product and the others in our neighbourhood. The crew is professional, friendly and care about what they are doing. I would definitely recommend Metro Wide for anyone wanting to spruce up their curb appeal with a newly paved driveway.

Thank you to Joe and his team! We had our driveway dug out and replaced last summer. Be prepared to wait for the driveway to settle before it is completed, but this is so the new driveway can be put down properly. We have several old trees, and when a crack appeared, Joe’s team arrived to work to fix this. We also changed the edge of the driveway, and the team added new sod. Full service team, and very responsive! Highly recommend!

Benny and his crew did a great job repaving our driveway and installing an interlocking path to our front door. They were on time and responsive to all our questions. I would recommend them.

This is a long time overdue review ... Sorry for writing it so late. I got the contact info for Metro Wide Paving from my neighbor who had the driveway done over 25 years ago and it looked the best in the neighborhood. I met with Joe a few days after I contacted him and I received a very competitive quotation/estimate from him. But the best thing I received from Joe were his advises and suggestions. Before I made my mind to go with Metro Wide I checked with about 10 other paving companies and Metro Wide had the best cost-value combination offering.
To make a long story short, Metro Wide team did the driveway on schedule, everything worked out smoothly and we are as happy as we were the day they finished their work, and that was in July, 2014.
A few days ago, I approached Joe again to help me with sealing the driveway and Joe referred me to a company who did the job for me. I am very happy with their work too. Why I am saying all these? Because if you go with Joe you get a friend who stays behind his work and years later he responds within minutes to any needs you have. Look nowhere else: if you need driveway or similar work just contact Metro Wide Paving, you will not regret it. I believe that you will be happy like myself and like my neighbor who's driveway looks like new after 25 years.

Compared with others, Jason of Metro-Wide was very knowledgeable when we discussed the situation: a single driveway at the curb widening to double, and sloping down to a double garage. He discussed options and researched drains. His estimate in September 2019 was competitive; however, weather and volume of sales precluded starting before winter. The 2019 estimate was honoured in 2020, and work began as soon as weather and the pandemic permitted.

Joe informed me when the crew would be here, pavement was removed efficiently, gravel laid, with little mess and in a few weeks, the crew returned to construct the concrete drains, lay more gravel and pave the driveway. The crew was pleasant, informed me of next steps, was helpful, worked efficiently and cleaned up the site. I was most impressed with their work and would not hesitate to recommend Metro-Wide for paving.

At the time of construction I discussed requirements for the drain grate specific to the site and my situation with Joe, the crew, and the manufacturer of the drain grates. However the finished grates do not meet these requirements, with the result that water has backed up and overflowed the drain during two rainstorms this past week. I discussed the problem with Joe 10 days ago and am awaiting resolution.

We had our driveway repaved last week by Metro Wide Paving and are happy with the results. Joe and his crew were prompt and professional, and the price was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend them.

I called the three major paving contractors in Toronto for quotes. In addition to new driveway paving, I also had an issue with concrete landing below my front steps which over the years had sunken and shifted making it a tripping hazard. The other contractors suggested excavation and new inter-locking for a lot of extra money. Benny at Metro-Wide was the only one who suggested that the concrete slabs could be lifted up with heavy equipment and reset underneath with gravel. Metro-Wide did this perfectly!!! Very happy with the paving on the rest of the driveway! Metro-Wide was a great choice!!!

This has got to be the worst company I've ever dealt with in my 4+ years of working in the renovation industry. After working on a project with Metro Wide Paving with sub par results at best, I made the mistake of hiring them for my own house thinking Jason, the 'sales and marketing' guy, would take a little more care on my job.

After pouring new asphalt on my driveway during the summer heat wave of 2019, multiple deficiencies were reported to them because of it not setting properly due to the heat. Contact was repeatedly attempted on my behalf to get the issues rectified for a year with excuse after excuse from Jason. He has made a point of blaming me for the deficiencies (i.e. if I hadn't turned my car wheels in my driveway, the numerous and highly visible wheel depressions would never have appeared, if I hadn't put a plywood work bench on the driveway over a year later, grooves wouldn't have appeared in the asphalt, etc.). Initially Jason had his brother use a blow torch on the spots which did absolutely nothing but burn areas on the driveway causing an unsightly result. When I tried the following spring to get the issues properly corrected, he offered to have his father in law come to 'look at the issues as a favour', but it was made very clear to me by his father in law and Jason himself that these were not in fact legitimate issues and nothing substantial was going to be done to rectify the damage (though they did offer to blow torch it again!).

There are a ton of paving companies in a GTA - do yourself a favour and call any single one of them but these guys.

Joe and his team are very good at what they do, and they performed the work with the utmost regard for customer service and quality. his interlocking team had discussed with me every step of the way on design changes and progress, along with any work that needed to be modified due to unforeseen conditions. Joe was very honest and thorough in explaining what was going to happen, and he was very open about the schedule as well. I highly recommend Joe and his team at Metro Wide Paving for all of your interlocking and asphalt needs!

When I opened a request for a paving company; Joe was the first one to respond. Not only was he one of the few who bothered to contact me; but he was at my home with an estimate that same day. I had my existing driveway; curbing and walkway torn up and completely replaced with concrete and asphalt. What a great company to deal with. Their work was impeccable; and all the work was done on time - exactly as Joe had promised. His staff were all courteous and friendly. What a relief to deal with such an honest; hardworking company. I would recommend Metro Wide Paving to anyone who needs paving and/or concrete work done...
