French Door Fiasco

In the fall of 2016 we ordered a new French Door and 2 front bay windows from Centennial. We were "wowed" by their saleswoman who showed us how their technology is superior. There were also not a lot of negative reviews on line. We should have known better.

The installer that Centennial used is no longer working for the company (or so we are told). Both the front windows had major drafts, and the French Door actually had pieces missing from the install (thus, they said, explaining why the door leaked when there was any combination of rain and wind). They have been back to my house 3 times, and they still have not fixed the problem. There are currently puddles in my kitchen.

Their warranty is as good as the people who stand behind it. Getting through to the service department is almost impossible, and you are greeted by a voice message indicating that they will call you back in 24-48 hours (don't count on that). Contacting the website help desk can usually speed up the process, but then again...dont' count on it. They must be REALLY busy with repairs.

When managers call you they seem concerned, but they never follow up to see if you are happy.

We are now at the lawyer stage. I advise you find another company and save yourself the grief that we have experienced.

Front entry door and 5 bedroom windows

I found the service to be very good but slow to come out to do the initial install. They left a big mess after the install even though they are supposed to clean up. There were multiple cancellations when the new front door had to be replaced due to a defect but there were never any questions or hassles about it. It was disappointing that a new door would have issues so early on, but they honoured their warranty which was the reason we hired them in the first place. I am confident that despite some defects we made the right choice choosing Centennial windows.

Windows and doors

WORST customer service ever. Will NEVER buy from them again or recommend to friends. Product is good but getting assistance after installation is next to impossible. Tried several times and when they did come out they indicated they would return but never did and would not return calls.

Bad Company Ignored Call For Service to door.

The work they did appeared to be OK but after two years the door lock disintegrated. I tried several times to reach the original salesman but heard nothing back. Having no other choice, I called a local locksmith and had the lock cylinder replaced at a cost of just over $150

Front Entry Door and sidelite

Door looks great from the sidewalk but is actually junk. Shortly after installation we realized it does not seal properly. Two service staff later with differing opinions, they think it is warped. Waiting for a replacement door but now it is 2 months later and we have discovered the weather stripping along the bottom is already torn. The door was overpriced and I would really just like my old ugly door back. I wish we had gone to Fersina windows again. Very disappointed ☹️

Door and window installations

I have used this company 2 previous times and why change when something is done right so I hired them to replace my front door and 1 large window ( double hung) and a fixed side window. The saleman is your typical sales fellow but he does explain the quality, the process of having everything installed and the breakdown of costs pretty good.
The product is higher end on the cost scale but you get what you paid for. Excellent lifetime warranty, even with the sale of your house, it gets passed along to the new owners. The quality of the windows and doors surpassed what I was expecting and the service goes above and beyond what is offered in todays life.

The installers on all of my installation occasions are courteous, respectful, answers all questions ( as silly as it may seem) do a fantastic clean up job and also gave me a hand in hanging up curtains and moving furniture since due to a knee operation I was limited in what I could do around the house ( they even asked if there was anything else that needed to be carried or moved before they left)

I highly recommend this company and if I had anymore windows or doors to replace I would use them again.

Door installation issues

Chose Centennial based on warranty and recommendations for a new front door. Many errors upon initial installation. Crews were to return and correct/replace door twice and both times did not show up or provide adequate notice they would not be coming out. Crews finally returned to address issues, still not complete but installation manager is working hard to resolve our situation.

Getting service for repairs a nightmare

Love the door but required service for faulty lock set. Door is almost impossible
To open from outside. Called repeatedly and played phone tag for two weeks. When we called again was told staff had fixed the door the day before but no one came. Was then told that they would look into it and call us back but no phone call. Called them back and was told sorry we're really busy. Very frustrated particularly now that we are struggling to open the door from the inside. Fire hazard? Love the door, love the sidelight and was very pleased with the installation excepting the fact that the doorbell was never installed. Picked centennial due to the warranty and now am disappointed.

Window & Door Renovations

I like the service, installation time, & warranty. Most of I like the guarantee that they also make and keep on hand all hardware which comes with the doors or windows. From past experience these items when they break can never find replacements.

Replace two exterior doors

This project involed the replacement of our two exterior doors. We have used Centennial in the past and have been very satisfied with their products and installation service. Installation was very god but noticed a small issue with the glass on one door after the installer had left. This is where Centennial really shines!! They have a life time warranty on their products and labour. Placed a call to their service desk and the problem was looked after with no issues or long drawn out process. You pay a little more but the peace of mind is well worth it!!
