My experience with Hans and John goes back to 1998 - 3 concrete projects successfully done in the past 22 years. These fellows are great to deal with, really know the concrete business inside and out and delivered a super final product in all 3 projects. Not the cheapest but pricing is fair and reasonable - the old saying “you get what you pay for” holds true with SFC; once again a very positive outcome.

Hans and his team from South Fraser Concrete installed our new driveway and sidewalk at a challenging site. The spectacular result is testimony to their knowledge, experience and service ethic. These guys know their stuff! Highly recommended!!

After renewing our backyard deck last summer, we decided on adding a ground level concrete patio. We were referred to South Fraser Concrete by some friends. We met Hans and he gave us some good design ideas, we settled on a price and waited for the rain to stop. It took one day to demo, excavate and prepare for concrete. After two weeks, there was a weather window to pour the cement and another wait for a weather window to wash and seal. The crew was experienced and efficient. The final product is better than we imagined. I strongly recommend this company.

Hans made several recommendations for our nearly 800 sq ft patio that helped make our decisions much easier including the shape and stamp patterns. He took care of the tear out of our old patio and portions of landscaping and excavating to prepare. He built the forms to our liking the first time around and prepared the ground to ensure the slope was gently away from the house. The end product is a beautiful and functional rear patio for entertaining and enjoying 4 seasons and his invoice was very fair when compared with quotes we had received from other contractors. His crew has done several driveways on our street and everyone we talk to is as impressed as we are. Highly recommended.

We were recommended "South Fraser Concrete" by a neighbor to do our driveway and footpath. The price Han's gave was very fair and included rebar other quotes given by other contractors did not include rebar and we felt in Richmond that was important. The South Fraser Concrete crew laid a beautiful driveway and footpath with curves and brushed effect edging. We feel that Han's has highly experienced concrete finishers who showed exceptional workmanship. John and Ron and the crew were friendly, courteous and professional. We were so delighted with the driveway we just got them to do large new 900 sq ft patio at the rear of the house also.

I paid before it rained and when it does rain the water goes right into the carport and there was no clean up done. Cement on siding on the house. It took me 8 hours to clean up. I didn't have 1 drop of water in my driveway before because I have an overhang on my roof. The sidewalk wasn't poured properly, so the water comes back in the carport. So do not work with Hans Meerdink, the owner of this company. His company is not rated with the BBB. No wonder.

This company put in a new concrete driveway for us. The company took time to design the sidewalk with curves and put in decorative edges on the driveway. They use good rebar and thick concrete. They work very fast and do a good job. The driveway looks amazing.
