Not a happy camper!! I have a North Air picture window which was installed in 2004 and my wife and I can feel cool air at least a foot away from the window. I already caulked around all the trim boards (both inside and out), caulked around any boards that meet the vinal around the glass. My wife still complained about the coolness she felt when sitting in her chair near the window so I used a thermal gun and found the temp. of the glass is about 4-5 degrees cooler than the wall next to the window. Also checked the bedroom window which showed only 2-3 degree difference. The gun also showed that some spots of the picture window glass were cooler than others. Called the local North Air repair place and was told that the window is doing what it's suppose to. Will strongly advise anyone who askes my advise not to use North Air windows and if they do have one to use the warranty as insulation.
